I always have distilled vinegar waiting at hands reach just in case I just soap batter or Lye solution splashed.
It really help neutralize the burning or itchy feeling from a splash

Yeah... As long as it's good lye, I can just wipe it off and carry on. I try to wear gloves but I also forget to put them on till the last second and sometimes I forget completely lol
