Dr. Swati Bhat is Interventional Spine and Pain Specialist working at IPSC Pain & Spine Center, which is located at Sahakar Nagar, Bangalore. Her qualification is MD, DPMCAI, FIAPM. She has an overall experience of more than 18 years and dedicated experience in pain medicine of over 10 years. She is very passionate about the Interventional pain medicine and the advancements in the field of pain management. After completing MBBS, she did her postgraduation in the field of Anesthesiology from the prestigious institution called Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai. Following which she did added to her skill as a Pain Physican with many courses as mentioned. She did her fellowship in Pain Medicine from Kolkata in Daradia Institute which is a dedicated Hospital for pain management , Advanced Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from IPSC and also fellowship from the Indian Academy of Pain Medicine. She has also done her fellowship from Royal College of Anesthetist of Ireland and a Diploma in Pain Management from the same. She has also done executive program in women leadership from IIM Kolkata.
She is also very passionate about interventions like percutaneous vertebroplasties, endoscopic spine surgeries and minimally invasive interventions like biacuplasty, radiofrequency ablation, neurolysis. She is also associated with cancer pain relief. She is also the director for cancer pain relief previously in Cytecare Cancer Hospitals, in Kovai Medical Center, Coimbatore, and also an active physician treating pain medicine in the Royal Hospital in Muscat, Oman.
IPSC Pain & Spine Center, Sahakar Nagar is a daycare center and most of the procedures are done on a daily basis where no hospitalization is required. There is no cut, blood loss or any requirement of any anesthesia per se for the procedures nevertheless the patients are given utmost care and the safety of the patient is given utmost importance.
