Fire Breaks out in Newhall

A fire broke out Friday behind a apartment complex running uphill fast.
LASD arrived before fire department and started telling the tenants to grab their things and start to evacuate. The fire was later upgraded to a first alarm.
Tenants afraid of the fire reaching their units, were using their water hoses.
It’s unknown how the fire started.
