The EMEO is an electronic wind instrument (EWI) that does not make sound on its own. Software is needed in order to make sound through the EMEO.
Your purchase of the EMEO comes bundled with over 60 Free Sounds from Respiro Instruments (made by ImoxPlus).
This digital practice saxophone is unique in that it has the most similar ergonomic feel to a regular saxophone, which helps the player get a more accurate fingering feel when practicing music.

I’ve had mine for over a year now and I play it almost every night when I can’t play my tenor. Great fun and a nice instrument to practice tunes and improvising. And as Donna says, it’s not for your embochure. Maybe a bit pricey but much better than the Roland Aerophone that I hade before getting the Emeo. Feels much more like a real saxophone since it has real saxophone keys. I use mine with the cabel connected to my macbook and it’s very close to zero latency.

Yes I just don’t want to be tied to my laptop with a wire any time I want to practice. So I’m wondering what the user experience is like running through Bluetooth and an iPhone. Nobody ever seems to talk about this.

Thanks for this video. Can I ask a couple of questions?
    1. How is using it with an iPhone? I know you mentioned not to use it with Bluetooth headphones, but is there any latency with wired headphones and Bluetooth iPhone use? Is that as smooth as wiring it to a laptop?
    2. I tried the Travelsax2 and found it very glitchy with the key response. Not so much like my sax. Is the emeo less key glitchy between notes? Between octaves, etc?
    Thanks!

There shouldn't be latency when you are wired.
Not sure what you mean about the keys being glitchy - I didn't have that problem on the Travel Sax 2, and I don't have it on the EWEO.

I meant latency when using Emeo with a Bluetooth connection to iPhone?
