Already installing a x-pipe on my Speed Twin. Still can't decide about the exhaust: either that one or a Zard. Since I cannot really understand the sound through a video, what's your opinion about volume in your bike? Is it a pain in the ass for your neighbours or it's cool? Thanks!
if your worried about sound, don't install the x pipe with Aftermarket muffler, x pipe with oem is nice and neighborly as well as aftermarket with Cat. But if you DGAF have at it and enjoy, I went with VH and xpipe due to the removable decible killer It can be loud AF at high RPM but not obnoxious
I'm curious, according to tec bike parts, the cat on a Thruxton RS is welded (not bolted) to the exhaust is this true? if so, how did you fit the x-pipe please?
I’ve just installed TEC bike parts big bore exhaust with SC project mufflers on my Thruxton R. That had the end pipes welded onto the cat. Don’t know why, as I thought only the RS had this. I had to remove both lower frames to get the cat out. Prick of a job, but worth it.
@@rburborough Ross, I have the same TEC headers coming this week. How hard was the removal of the cat? And have you seen any degradation in bottom end performance as a result of straight headers with no crossover?
I’m thinking about that exact exhaust setup
My other options are the motone nautilus and BC 2-1 low mount
Nice tastefully mods for once on u.tube. Well done
Sound great! What fender eliminator kit and rear turn signal brackets do you have???
Nice
When are we getting more clips?
Nice job mate
Are there db killers in the slip ons? I have the same but it doesn’t sound as good as yours. Not sure if it’s the db killers or xpipe vs headers

Does putting on the arrow header means no need to use the Xpipe to decat ? And where did you buy the arrow header and scproject slip on please ? Thx
Pick mine up next week and first thing will be the tail tidy on the r&g site they don’t have the rs model did you use the one for the r model ?
A nice bike I am on the fence between an rs and a Speed twin

@@rburborough Is your Thruxton R 2020 onwards?
My RS has mid pipes welded to the cat, so does the TFC model.
No one really knows why they did this.

@@rburborough Hmm very odd.

Wicked bike George. Bike looks clean and tidy, a dream, well kept - who comes first, the bike or the missus? ;)
Which is easier to replace? (;
Which header model from arrow did you end up going with. I’m trying to do the xpipe but I feel like it’s easier to just do straight headers
where can I buy SC?Thank.you.
A jab of the throttle, li`l jab of the throttle. Some fish n` chips mate

This comes with quick shifter?
