I am reading Magnolia Parks right now and I have the same feelings about it. The description of the outfits is driving me nuts!! I am only on page 100 and I really wanted to like it but I can’t figure out the hype for it so far. I thought maybe I was too old for it (42) but you are a lot younger than me and have the same feelings.

i read the divergent series 10 years ago but i remember insurgent the book being sooooo good i finished it in two days and then the movie completely butchered the story i didn’t even watch allegiant

Haha, I did not finish My Year of Relaxation. It was not really triggering to me, but just disgusting and dumb. How will anything be better after a year of drugabuse?

maybe for people with substance issues or depression it may be idk, trying to give people a heads up 🫣☺️ but yeahh i agree with you, like how will anything change with that behaviour lol

I actually loved her other book, Lapvona. But tbh, it was just as disgusting. I tried Eileen too. Dnf. 🤭
