  • Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy - often called CAR T cell therapy - is a type of cancer treatment used to treat children and young adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and adults with large B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. With this type of immunotherapy, T cells are extracted from the patient and modified in a laboratory to express the chimeric antigen receptor, which allows the cells to better recognize and fight cancer. The modified cells are then expanded to large numbers and returned the patient through an IV to begin attacking the cancer.
Watch Dr. William Wierda discuss how CAR T cell therapy works as well as side effects caused by this cancer treatment.

My mom had this and about a week after the cells were put back in she became unresponsive and was that way for about a month before she died. I’m sure there are good stories though.

can we just modify t cell factory in my body? it's too expensive for regular people to take this treatment. take out t cell from body and modify and duplicate and inject. it's too expensive.

I'm reading that a prolonged water only fast (21 days at least) can reboot your entire immune system and healthy cells start eating away at damaged cells 🤷🤷
