My mates
I like to keep a few zip ties in the backpack along with the local maps in a ziplock bag just in case.
I can't imagine riding without good gloves. To me they are almost as essential as a helmet.
You forgot : a tube , tyre levers and a pump.
Having always ridden in the WBP with a small pack, I get waved down weekly , by someone that’s not caring their own essentials and thinks I’m they’re Sherpa . Lol 😂
I would take a tyre puncture repair kit aswell

Had my first try it out experience on my new bike today, srewed the jump over the curb up, puncture

I once turned up to my local trails having forgotten my front wheel... not my finest hour.
If you are driving take a track pump for the car park, as well the pump you ride with.
I just bring a bunch of random sh!t with me and hope for the best, seems to work fine 😂😂

zip ties are a necessity and have save my backside many times
What have you used them for!? Great advice!
@@gmbn I'm using them right now because I got new brakes and they didn't fit so I used zip ties to hold in place
I keep some in my bottom bracket, mostly used it to hold cables into the frame

Meh, the rental is newer than my own bike, already on site, and I'm not stuck doing/paying for the maintenance. :-)

GMBN I love you guys but these videos of redundant information are getting kind of boring. Let's just see some shredding please. Just get on a nice bike, ride a hard trail and film it. If you need to tell people to bring water they probably shouldn't ride.
