When Aventador came out, I thought it looked way too similar to Murcielago. But 10 years later, Murcielago definitely looks old while Aventador hasn't aged a day. It looks perfectly fresh.

Just like the Murciélago, this car could be 20 years old and still look "modern". This car changed the concept of the supercar forever, and it doesn't need forced induction, dual clutch or electric assistance.

Seriously, this is what the Gallardo and Murcielago should've looked like all along. Lambo could pull an Aston Martin and make every damn car look the same and I'd love every second of it. 100% one of the best looking cars ever made.

+lequoix I agree. This is utterly stupid. Many guys wouldn't even be able to safely drive this car,and Hammond says the improved handling makes him sad. Stupid, they were probably thinking they were so incredibly knowledgeable about cars they could always find something that isn't right.
the fear factor is between the thin line of death and thrill....and that's wat Lamborghini was all about , it was not a piece of art like Ferrari or a sentiment like Aston or it had any character like Rolls ....it was the thrill of getting your foot down and accelerate
+song98cws // Ok,fair enough. But if you watch some of these 'supercar crashes' videos here on YT, you see people losing control over their car when they're driving in a straight line. I could understand if the insurance companies told the supercarmakers to give their toys a better handling cause some of these crashes look totally ridiculous and so would the premium people would have to pay for their insurance.For some very good drivers like Hammond and maybe you , a bit of the magic may have gone, but for most people the improved handling may be a necessary thing. And this car ,with 0-100 km in 3 seconds ,would definitely give me an adrenaline rush ,even with the improved handling. But I understand your point!
Considering that yuppie drivers tend to be about as absent-minded, clumsy, self-centered, and irresponsible as average newbie driver teenagers (for whatever their reasons may be, as I have observed while working as a full-time delivery driver), I don't think making expensive cars hard to drive is a good idea as it concerns everyone's safety.

9 years later and I still love this car, the now "slow" gearbox is mechanical and slaps you every time you shift gears, the design is still amazing and the engine is just phenomenal, this era won't be forgotten.

I remember when this episode was first aired in Australia. It was the first season that I watched every episode. I remember staying up late at night sometimes with my Dad and enjoying the comedy of the trio. At the time I enjoyed looking at cars and being driven around in them. But it was this episode and more specifically the showing of the previous V12s when I really fell in love with cars. I have never forgotten my love of the older Lamborghinis and their flamboyance.

I learned about this car back in 2013. And I just fell in love with how it looked. 8 years later it still looks like one of the coolest cars to me.
The Aventador will always stay in a special place of my heart. It is the car that lived through while I was a teenager.

+Oscar Abdat I too like classics but i totally understand why most people want something newer. Spewnd some time with some old British motorcycles and you will soon wish you too had a Yamaha R1. Classics are a great supplement but cant replace a supercar or superbike. Its just your personal opinion and i think it stems from lack of experience with classics.
