A great overview of Hero and his kit, while bringing in a good amount of humor. Nice touch of showing the amount of MP needed for each special and command btw. Some things that you missed explaining: - Down Tilt can 2-frame and hit hanging opponents. - If your opponent misses a tech, techs, and even tech rolls on stage, a Zapple can catch all of those options. - Kazap near ledge can catch opponents hanging on ledge. - Btw at the top left, you used the caption of Kafrizz, instead of Kazap. - Woosh can be used as a decent OoS (Out of Shield) option, since Hero doesn't have a lot of good options. - Command Selection halts your MP regeneration, so don't stall on your options too much. - Flame Slash / Kacrackle Slash can hit below the ledge, which can hit opponents who are recovering below or hanging opponents. - While you're going down with Zoom, you can cancel your way down with a jump, Command Selection, or any other Special.
Hero's pretty much my favorite sword-wielder in the game; I just love the variety of spells he has access to (even if I feel a good hand-full of them aren't very useful), and I have a lot of fun with him! Also, since it wasn't shown at the end, will the next guide be on Banjo & Kazooie?
Even though i don't play fighting games anymore, i still enjoy your character explanation videos regarding Smash because they are so easy to understand.
when hero came out, I absolutely hated him, thought he was lame and didn't even know who he was. But now I am a hero main, and got 3rd in state finals for my highschool esports team with him. Holy shit this character is so much fun, and this guide is really good!
Skuxxed: Kamikaze kills you first so you don’t want to use this on your last stock Me: *N o* Me: (proceeds to kamikaze on my final stock for the memes)
Yo, at 13:55, Ridley's dawning realization of what Hero is doing is priceless. You see his slit eyes widen like "Oh sh*t, whatchu doing?! Can't we talk bout this first?!"
As someone who played the dragon quest games way more than final fantasy as a kid (besides FFX) seeing all the heroes in the final smash almost brought a tear to my eye. Smash Bros is just so great
I really feel like if someone could really master is neutral with the use of his sword and specials, THEN integrate menu into his gameplay he'd be a force to be reckoned with.
Kaclang is actually useful in one situation and that’s timing out someone. You can just completely avoid all damage for the last few second of the game which could be useful for long competitive games.
To be fair though, timing out at the end isn't something Hero wants much, as over time Hero will be able to stack more buffs and fish for better spells to finish the match in a typical manner. There is that really niche use case though.
As always another great video! Fun introduction and some great touches to the video itself! Keep up the awesome work, I am already looking forward to your next video!
Imma be honest here idk how these attacks work and imma buy the character to find out he has a selection of spells that seems like you need to choose it s a bit confusing to me
Of course there's dragons in dragon quest... And you were right, things did go insane the next year. Probably not the type of insane you were talking about 😂😅😥
Ive won a game with Hero using Kamikaze with one stock left. Dont know if it was a bug, but we were both one and one, and I used Kamikaze and it gave the win to me.
I would remove hos smash critical chance while buffing his smashes a little. Also get rid of weird/useless spells while making the whole thing non random. Something like the spells always showing up in a certain order and when your mp reaches 0 for the first time in the stock, you get one use of one of the top 3 spells. Then you recover 50 mp after like 20-30 seconds.
you keep repeating this word throughout the video that I don't understand. like at 11:22 -- "and psych up is a one-time [minato??] smash". would be helpful if you explained what you meant there

Thank you for all the additional information! I am currently trying to learn him ._.
Great info!
This character is an absolute Maverick and is ridiculously fun as a result.
I love your Edgeworth profile picture😂
I love his up B its really awesome
Pretty funny that’s he’s more the Wild Card than Joker, the actual Wild Card.
Right? I was thinking the same thing when I was trying to classify him.
@@Skuxxed Gahahahahaahhahaa!
He is my main and I love to play him xD
I even play him in tournament and won many times and also lost xD
i don’t get why this doesn’t have more views, very well explained and structured! liked! ❤️
6:24 don't forget that his Side-B is actually NOT a projectile despite the way it looks; it cannot be reflected.

I get so much serotonin watching this 🔥

I always feel god like playing Hero getting clutch shit while just memeing the whole time

Great stuff mate, loved the guide

Noticed a mistake, sure its too late but still. Up at 6:53, you can see it has the Kafrizz spell banner up instead of Kazapple.
As always another great video! Fun introduction and some great touches to the video itself! Keep up the awesome work, I am already looking forward to your next video!
This absolutely help me ty dude bc iam a hero main I just wanna learn combos that 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I would add that Whack and Thwack also count your own percentage as well, though it cares more about your opponent's.
Imma be honest here idk how these attacks work and imma buy the character to find out he has a selection of spells that seems like you need to choose it s a bit confusing to me
Thwack and whack are also based on your Percentage and the opponents.
6:48
Like to point out it says Kafrizz when we're talking about Kazapple
These videos are put together very well
A kill confirm at zero at ledge is kaboom to kafrizz
7:05 you meant to put kazap.
I love this video! 🙏
My Hero..... I have a hard time against my friends Sephiroth and Pyra/Mythra
Thanks for sharing
Oh my.. you actually took my request. Now I need Banjo & Kazooie
dam hero is the perfect character👌
Bear and bird next.i want to see what I can combo out of grenade egg
I killed with kabooms windbox disrupting a recovery once
6:49 there’s a mistake, it says “neutral special”
And it also uses up 42 mp instead of 36
Whack and twhack most fun moves in the game, unless you are going against hero
Fantastic vid
Of course there's dragons in dragon quest...

I just kamikazed with both our last stocks and I won? Lol
Don't forget the opponent can spot dodge/ air dodge/ roll and take litteraly no damage. But it's very fun and good to humiliate.
What bottons to use Hero’s shield
he really said F hocus pocus 🤣
Good job

I need a hero!
3:44 Oh yeah, I forgot Hero can do that. Crap.

BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!
This guide confirms dq4 is the best dq
Imagine how annoying joycon drift would be when playing Hero
It is very rewarding play as Hero. A fun character, hard to master, but when you do, is so satisfying!

Well ok then.
Zero Escape music sniped.
Literally no tech in this video
Seeing someone play as him online I usually just don't bother. He's to broken
9:20
why do you say "fuck" or "fucking" so frequently?
How to use heros shield?
Stand still or be walking.
This character makes people so mad lol
Fun fact: you don't know how to read to play hero. If you do down b b they can't do anything to you
Yes they can
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Menados are Shulk's mechanic. When he's get the selection ring around him, that's the menado. Smash is increased knockback less damage dealt.
I bought the Fighter Pass so that means I got Hero but I'm too disgusted to play him
