Turbos are definitely easier to make power with in a lot of applications, that's a fact. Getting them to make that power reliably without a bunch of lag, without a extended spool-up time, and without unwanted surging where it breaks the tires loose because of the non-linear nature of turbos is always a challenge. If you are building a full race car (drag car) or near full-on race car, they are the best choice in most situations. With that said, if you are building a street car that you can daily to work, do drag and drives with, and even take on long weekend trips where you are covering some serious interstate miles, a supercharger is a MUCH better option. Most of those supercharged V8 builds can make up to, 1250 to 1450 wheel horsepower all day long and are totally reliable. Currently I am on my 2nd Hellcat, the first was an '18 standard HC Challenger i bought new, the current is a '19 REWBHC Challenger I also bought new and traded the '18 in on. It is currently sitting at just a hair under 1000 wheel horsepower on a very conservative E-85 tune that is just as reliable as the stock tune so far. I can also run a 93 tune that makes 850 wheel hp. Both tunes make a RIDICULOUS 750 to 800 ft lbs of torque right off the bat at a nearly unbelievable 2800 RPM.
The fact that a hellcat can be a problem for a Lamborghini hurrican is crazy lol… a hellcat keeping up with supercars means more .. supercars are expected to win
