Good to see you address this, cause I’m watch and saying to myself, “why is this dude giving this bad energy”. Slim called it a street car but it was gutted. I saw a fuel cell no seats n no interior panels. Civic definitely was late on 2 step n sat to build boost. It did make a great race though but the energy was definitely off.

A little thing called nitrous or simply go in first and double bulb if you need time to spool or put the correct turbo to make it happen in the time frame you need it. @@MoElfa-sr3sj I've got Hundreds of passes at the DragStrip. I'm familiar with qualifying rounds. They both were actually racing one another. If the Civic wasn't running the Hellcat & actually just getting Data/practice he would have just sat there until he built up enough boost pressure to leave hard. Maybe the Hellcat driver didnt courtesy stage so the lights came down before the civic could actually build boost. (What if he would have bogged??) After the race the Civic driver stated "I let you leave" in a manner of that he knew he was going to catch the hellcat. So that tells you it was an "Actual Race" in both of their minds. Qualifying rounds or not. I'm a Honda Head so it not about taking sides. This is what I observed. 🤔✂️🚦
