Islam is a complete way of life that is why it makes it a perfect religion..
This world consists of war love hate friendship etc.. And my beautiful religion islam explains to us how to conduct ourself in each situation and this has been perfected and preserved in the life of our beloved prophet...
Our religion is the most fair and realistic and i challenge you to find any religion that is better in every way shape and form..
Even the Jews admitted that the prophet pbuh was the chosen one.. There is no room o place for arrogance in Islam.
Yasir qadhi you have helped me to fall in love with my religion and my beloved prophet.. May Allah reward u for ur endeavour.

Juuso Peltoniemi dude look over the history of the other civilizations and you'd realize compared to that time, Islam was a blessing for the general population. Thus so many people converted. Till this day, 1450 years later. There has to be something in it that drove billions of people in it. But alas a non Muslim can never understand the real peace of Islam. My apologies brother. Remember Islam is perfect. Muslims are not. God bless you with guidance and blessings.

13 When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.

just less than a week ago, i had the opportunity to sit in a magistrate court room. Most cases were drink driving cases. and in most of these cases the guilty was coming back for the 3rd time or so.
so the judge was telling them that if they knew this was going to be their final chance, (they promised since the first time they were in the court that they will not repeat the crime, promise in vain).
they replied positive and they promised again that they will not repeat,
then he asked if they knew what the punishment is if they repeat the crime,
    they replied "yes".
the judge asked what it was,
    they replied" jail".
then the judge said " and who would be responsible for that?"
they said" no one other than myself".
this is okay in a court room to punish for the action that someone breached promised 3 times, but not okay if muslim do the same?
When i was sitting in the court room, i felt i am seeing a trailer of day of judgement. the judge will ask questions, we will answer, angels would be in the position of the police who was verifying for and against if the guilty did not matched any statement in his book that the guilty gave statements to previously. And Allah will be confirming that with the angels. The day of judgement felt real than every on that day. till now i was believing in an unseen. but now ...
people should go visit court rooms, to increase iman.

    Episode 61 Notes:
    The Invasion of Banu Qurayza
When the sandstorm had died down the next morning, the Prophet SAW and the Muslims saw that, the Ahzab had departed. The Prophet SAW then decided to go back to Umm Salamah RA’s house to rest. Before he could take off his armour, Jibreel AS came to him, wearing a turban and riding a mule. Jibreel AS informed the Prophet SAW that, Allah SWT has commanded them both to go and deal with the Banu Qurayza immediately. Thus the Prophet SAW, sent out a crier all around Medina, informing the Muslims that, they must pray Asar at the Banu Qurayza’s territory and not in Medina.
Ali RA was the first to arrive because he was the flag bearer and the rest of the Muslims slowly arrived, in batches outside the fortress, of the Banu Qurayza. The Muslims then camped there and laid siege to it for 25 days. Towards the end of the siege. The Banu Qurayza’s leadership then begun discussing their options but were indecisive. Thus they sent a messenger several times, to the Prophet SAW to beg for a way out. But, the Prophet SAW would only accept unconditional surrender. The Banu Qurayza, then asked to speak to Abu Lubaba RA in their fortress and the Prophet SAW permitted this. The Banu Qurayza had a good relationship with Abu Lubaba RA and they asked him for his advice on how to proceed with the situation. He advised them to surrender. But he also informed them that, they would be executed. Abu Lubaba RA then left them.
The Banu Qurayza therefore, agreed to surrender unconditionally. But, the Banu Aws begun pleading with the Prophet SAW to show the Banu Qurayza mercy due to their past relations with them. Thus, the Prophet SAW gave them the honour of allowing Sa’d Ibn Muadh RA, their leader, to decide the fate of the Banu Qurayza. Thus, they brought Sa’d Ibn Muadh RA from his medical tent in Medina to the Banu Qurayza and as he approached them. The Prophet SAW commanded the Ansar to stand up to greet him.
Sa’d Ibn Muadh RA decided that, all the men of the Banu Qurayza should be executed, their wealth be distributed and the women and children be taken as captives. Thus the men were taken in batches and executed. Huyayy Ibn Akhtab was arrogant to the end, he didn’t regret his actions. But he did admit that, this was Allah SWT punishment against the Bani Israel. Ka’b Ibn Asad, the leader of the Banu Qurayza, before he was executed, admitted that he knew the Prophet SAW was the Prophet mentioned in their Torah. Overall, around 400-900 men and one woman from the Banu Qurayza were executed. Some of the Banu Qurayza who became Muslim were spared and some of the Banu Qurayza were granted amnesty due to their past righteous acts. The Muslims then split the spoils of war as per Surah Anfal. The Prophet SAW gained Rayhana Bint Zayd RA a slave as part of the Anfal.
Rayhana Bint Zayd RA was initially from the Banu Nadir tribe and after the Muslims defeated the Banu Qurayza, she was taken as a Milk Al-Yamin for the Prophet SAW. The Prophet SAW wanted her to become Muslim and marry him. Rayhana RA decided to become Muslim yet, wanted to remain as Milk Al-Yamin. She lived until 10 AH and was buried in Jannat Al Baqi. Some scholars have said she did do the Nikkah and became the 12th Ummahatul Mumineen. But the correct view is that there were only 11 and she just remained a Milk Al-Yamin.
Fun Trivia fact: The granddaughter of the Prophet SAW was Umamah RA who married Ali Ibn Talib RA after Fatimah RA’s death
Fun Trivia fact: When Jibreel AS came to the Prophet SAW, he informed him that, the Angels were not resting and that, Jibreel AS had been sent down with a new contingent of Angels to deal with the Banu Qurayza.
Fun Trivia fact: Some of the Sahabah RA, saw Jibreel AS heading towards the Banu Qurayza, in the form of Dihya Al Kalbi.
Fun Trivia fact: Abu Lubaba RA felt bitter regret for committing a sin because he felt sympathy for the Banu Qurayza whom were enemies of the Muslims. Thus to repent for this, he made an oath to Allah SWT. He tied himself to a pillar of the Prophet SAW’s masjid and vowed not to be untied until he was forgiven by Allah SWT. After a while, Allah SWT revealed 2 verses that forgave Abu Lubaba RA and then the Prophet SAW, untied him down from the pillar.
Fun Trivia fact: Surah 9 Ayah 102 is regarded by some scholars to be the most optimistic Ayah of the entire Qur’an.
Fun Trivia fact: There were a very few of the Banu Qurayza, who vocally opposed the rest of their tribe, for betraying the Prophet SAW’s contract. One of these was Amr Ibn Sa’dah and he was spared the fate that, befell the Banu Qurayza.

Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series:
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.
Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins during this blessed month and beyond! Ameen

They attempted assisnation of their ruler so many times
They spoke with disrespect to their ruler knowing he was the promised messiah.
So they were tried and punished by the leader of their own neighbours.
Not one ruler of modern times will excuse treason committed once.
    So yeah more than justified.
As for anti semitism accusations, the prophet SAW had a Jewish wife. Go figure.

    Can someone answer these questions:
Firstly, for the sake of argument lets agree that the tribe of Banu Quraytha was planning to attack the Muslims. So it was fair to kill the combatants. But it is pretty clear that the way the men were beheaded was: 1. Check whether they had pubic hair 2. If they had pubic hair, they were considered adults and thus beheaded. Is this the way to differentiate combatants from non-combatants? We all have family members who are 14-15 years old and have pubic hairs. Are these small children adults? Were all children with pubic hairs combatants? It seems to me that non-combatant children (aged between 13-15 years) were killed in this massacre. How is this ethical?
Secondly, some of the women and children were taken as slaves and some were sold in a market. How can these slave women have sex with men who killed their brothers, uncles, fathers, and sons? Isn't this rape? Just imagine your wife, your mother. Would they willingly have sex with men who killed you? Oh yes, the slaves were treated with love and mercy and sex. "O slaves, listen. Eat from what I eat. Wear my clothes. Yes I beheaded your father, your husband and your son but am I not treating you right? Lets have sex please." Is this ethical? Does it seem right?
Thirdly, how can slavery be ethical? How can you enslave children. Please read 'The Sealed Nectar' and other elaborate biographies. Women and children were taken as slaves and sold off as commodities. Is this ethical? Oh, you say it was the culture of that time. 'Slavey was the norm. Islam gave rights to slaves'. Come on! Idolatry was the norm. Did the Muslims say 'We will worship idols because it is the norm?" Islam made idol worship forbidden. It went against the norm. Why didn't it go against the norm and prohibit such an immoral and heartbreaking act as slavery?

Ehsanur Rahman brother you have to understand it was a different society out there. We are talking about 7th century arabia. And you can't judge by your present society those times
Firstly,14-15 years old are like kids in our society. But at that age they fought in wars in that society. And the tribe had a treaty which they betrayed. The prophet didn't order their execution. He let their ally tribe appoint their judge. They appointed Sad ibn muaz.Who was from aws tribe an ally of theirs pre islam. And he gave this judgement. And it is according to the law of torah. You kill the combatants and enslave the children and women. You can check the bible in deuteronomy it is mentioned.
Secondly, enslaving their women and children.Women were not independent like they are in our society. So they had to starve or resolve to prostitution.Enslaved people have their rights in islam which is well known.Regarding sex with slave Imam Shafi mentions in kitab al umm.It is one of the earliest books of fiqh. That if a person forces himself onto a slave.(rapes or has sex without ther approval)Hudood will be applicable on him.
Thirdly slavery in European history and trans Atlantic slave trade was cruel. No doubt about that. But that type of slavery didn't exist in muslim society.Islam closed the door to all sorts of slavery like kidnapping and selling slave, debt slavery, selling children into slavery etc
POW was the only way open that through a legitimate war declared by the caliph or Muslim leader.
And only he has the right to deal with the PoW.basically there are 3 options
      1.He can ransom them
2.He can free them out of mercy
3.He can enslave and distribute them
Now what happens if a master tortures a slave. The sharia court will free him basically.
The slave if he wants freedom can work a deal out known a muqataba. The master is bound to that deal
You can watch omar Suleiman's lecture on this topic for more clarification.
If you have doubts try to solve them.Study in depth. And inshaAllah you will find ans

people in the comment section who are hurt by the punishment! what other alternative punishment will you prescribe if you’re the leader of madina at the time?. Allow all fighting males to leave and then they regroup and come back?. It doesn’t make any rational sense considering he did the same thing with banu nazir and qainuqa and they went to khaybar to instigate the battle of the trench. Slavery and collective punishment is a necessary evil contextualizing the time and society they live in.
Every adult male is a soldier and will follow the order of their leader without objection hence why every military leader of that age has similar verdicts. It’s impossible to use 21 century standard to judge people people who are living in the survival of the fittest world of the 7th century.
Another option will basically be imprisonment which is illogical given the context of the 7th century Arabia. Upon the fact that most houses in madina are struggling with 1 square meal a day, adding a member of the banu qurayda to each household as a prisoner is illogical.
And thinking you wouldn’t enslave the women and children after their men were killed and to think they can survive on their own is foolish, this is the medieval world where women and children need to be in the custodian of strong men for them to survive. Please inform me of a better judgment which you’ll recommend if you were the leader of Madinah at the time

The story of the two who prayed at different times seems to be sufficient reason among those who say Muhammad's sayings in general does not have to be taken literally.
It is very true that Western judges show how they are the people of Hell Fire in enforcing the standing before they sits.
Those who acts like either the men of Qurayzhah were killed for being Jews or that Jews are all treacherous lack solid grounds for these claims. It was obvious that the innocents were to be saved and those important to the righteous were allowed to be the subject of pleas.
Everyone need to look at what the actual actions are, their perceived intentions or consciousness, and the context of them.
