Thanks Mickey, YEP! Catching a keeper fluke is a task that seems to get worse each season. I've been fishing 3-4 times a week for the past 2 months and have not had much success. . There were many Tarpon busting in the surf last week, little ones and biggies too. I couldn't get a touch on my lures. SO, I sought some local advice. Now I am prepped with 9" slug-gos in alewife and black sparkle. And you know that I haven't seen a Tarpon since! They'll be in strong very soon. Then, I'll have some interesting videos. I hope!
Hi John, Good luck with the Slug-gos. Add a 1" piece of "Fishbites" shrimp or crab to the hook when using the Slug-go. It adds some scent. Hook the Slug-go head and then put the Fishbite on the hook before you put the hook into the middle of the Slug-go. It will ride under the Slug-go and shouldn't interfere with the action. Hi John, We don't need a mask outside if we can stay away from people. I don't wear a mask on my friend's boat. We stay apart as best we can and it's just the two of us. How are you doing ? Take care, Mickey
