Great video Top Luxury, but you sadly missed my country Bangladesh's upcoming sky scrapers, they are Bangabandhu Tri-Tower which has 3 different buildings and the main one is set to be around 465 meters while the tip of the tower will be around 470+ meters tall probably and the final other skyscraper will be the Bangladesh Iconic Tower which will be around 730+ meters tall which is still a proposed project but I think it has already been approved by now, but all in all a great video Top Luxury can't wait for the day when you will make a video on my country!

I'm not certain, but I recall reading something, saying that the ideal building height, based on cost-effectiveness, is somewhere around 22 stories, but obviously, this all depends on the level of demand in a particular area, and how much of the building's height is usable. With innovations in materials science and construction techniques, taller buildings across the board may become much cheaper, but there's always the question of demand. It bears consideration that Paris is about twice the population-density of New York City, but with very few tall buildings; density doesn't require vast height, but building taller does allow for larger floor plans than the famously-small Parisian apartment homes.
Yes, for looks, and populated spaces. For example, the reason there are many skyscrapers in most cities is because there isn't enough space to build 20 story flats, so instead of building sideways, they need to build up.

Back in the day, both the WTC twins as well as the subsequent 1 WTC replacement only exist because 2 states subsidized their construction.
