It’s so annoying this year. I play against noobs but they just run through my defence. I can predict almost everything my opponent is going to do but I still can’t stop it. I try different tactics, right stick switching (which only goes to the right player about 30% of the time) L1 switching goes to the right player about 10% of the time. Somebody needs to make a series where people send gameplay videos of their horrific defending and you could analyse it and tell us where we are going wrong. I think it’s a great idea for a mini series. Please consider it. I have tons of videos of me getting torn apart over and over again. It sucks because I like fifa and find it fun. Most people would tell me just to quit but I want to play the game. I just want to learn how to defend.

I really think lots of CZcamsrs are giving out bad tips on purpose, an example is that almost 80% of Fifa CZcamsrs are giving “op tactics” tell you to put depth at 70 (just 1 apart from 71 that activates automatic pressure, so it’s obvious, that way you get your defense very upwards on the field without pressure and makes a perfect opportunity to give a triangle/ Y pass) I really can’t comprehend how I ended being the best player on fifa of all my group from Fifa 13 - Fifa 23 and suddenly I’m one of the worst players rn it frustrates me a lot and not only that, it’s depressing at its best, because it makes all those years feel like nothing.
Same here - I know exactly how the guy is gonna attack and score and I still cant defend it, and some of those players are not good even - I mean I could understand if a pro wins against me
I love your videos, Dylan, but at this point just show us how to defend cut backs. It's 90 pct of the goals that I conceived and it's so frustrating everyone plays the same way

It’s the same here tactical works best for me but I’m trying to learn new defending skills cause my opponents always take advantage of the spaces I give out but will always find it difficult to score cause someone will be out there to block the shot

L1 switching is broken / unusable this year. This is the skill gap imo. I’m forced to use RS if I wanna compete in div 3 or above. Keeps fucking me up time and time again .
This guy was shitting on me and decided to stand still in the box. No matter how I pressed a + b, just b, whatever I couldn’t get the ball for 5 seconds. He scored. I haven’t raged that hard in forever

runs runs runs, close post, rb pass tap in
Double tap R1 and you can get ai to mark sttack in box and then u can manually close down on ball attacker and close angle for the pass too

It's coz if you press R1//RT they'll do a controlled dribble and it's broken af on certain players, it's best to utilize it inside the final third
Because these golds dont have as good dribbling shooting etc and the defenders arent as fast rn it Will change with time

I hate advanced defending. Been losing game after game. Switched back to tactical after 3 months and my results are 75% more wins.
