    Ambassador Vishnu Prakash, Embassy of India in Korea 비슈누 프라카시 주한인도대사
    "2,000-Year-Old Relationship" - Ambassador Vishnu Prakash, Embassy of India in Korea "2000년의 인연" - 비슈누 프라카시 주한인도대사
    In January 2012, Ambassador Vishnu Prakash was appointed to the Embassy of India in Korea for his first post as ambassador.
    Entering the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in 1981, he has a diplomatic career of 32 years. After initiating his work as ambassador, he has strengthened the future relationship of Korea and India and solidified the mutual defense treaty between the two countries. In particular, he played a central role in inviting the Indian Prime Minister to Korea.
    In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Korea-India diplomatic relations, various commemoration events are being held nationwide. Ambassador Vishnu Prakash has been active in promoting exchanges between the two countries.
    However, looking back at the past relationships between Korea and India, both countries share a 2,000-year-long history of cultural exchanges!
    This week on [Heart to Heart], Ambassador Vishnu Prakash of the Embassy of India in Korea will talk about the special relationship of Korea and India.

      Nepal was the place of birth of Gautama.. Buddha wasn't his surname, he became buddha upon receiving (or rather achieving) bodhi. Regardless, I think CT K's opinion was referring to Indian subcontinent or Indic cultures rather than just the country, Republic of India

Korea in trade bc US military THAD IN S. Korea to protect attack from north. A lot of tears and sacrifies hardshipness of every singke Korean to develop the country. It is amazing country with wars, colonization, no natural resources and still enormous geo-political pressure of all interest of other nation, technically still in war with North at same time.

    I wonder sometimes that how could someone make one sided statements with such confidence?
    Some things are true however most are completely one sided.
    I wonder what the lady could be thinking about: a fairy tale which is far from truth. However, it is also true that every country has some problems and india is not an exception.

    So weird...why are talking in English? There should be like a new international language we could all agree on and use instead of spreading British colonial influence in future generations. We need to end the dominance of the English language in international communications.

    • @yogiyogiinfy
      @yogiyogiinfy Před 7 lety +10

      What a Foolish Comment? Inventing a new language and then teaching that to the world so that the world can communicate!!!!!! Some Language had to dominate for the world to get closer and communicate. It turned out to be English. An Analogy - Humans had to dominate the world - so Nature destroyed Dinosaurs.

    • @Chuschannel
      @Chuschannel Před 7 lety +1

      yogiyogiinfy It only became so because of people like Koreans, who in the millions spend so much time and money trying to learn it and spread it-that is what is foolish. Why not spread Korean instead? That is what should be done.

    • @yogiyogiinfy
      @yogiyogiinfy Před 7 lety +4

      Chu Kim You say Koreans spend millions to learn English. Can you imagine the Billions required to propagate Korean Language. And that too if the rest of the world is interested. Instead why not leverage the language which is already dominate. Don't hate the Language. Hate the wrong people. Millions of Koreans are not wrong. You are wrong.

    • @skagraw2
      @skagraw2 Před 7 lety +9

      It is the relationship that is most important not the language. If korea and india have deep and long relationship, within few generation most of indians will learn korean and most of korean will learn indian languages. It is the need that drives the learning new craft or language.

    It's a very armchair historian move on Modi govt's part to assume that "Ayuta Kingdom" mentioned in Samguk Yusa is the one up in North! Based on phonetic similarly!! You can't get more half arsed than that!
    Whilst North East is at the forefront of obsession with all things Korean, they miss something very vital about Korea. It's something which any lay viewer down South picks up within minutes into any K-Drama - the linguistic similarities between their mother tongue and Korean language! With bit of digging on CZcams itself anyone can know it's Tamil which shares numerous linguistic commonalities and similarities with Korean! Interestingly enough, people noticed that way back in 1905.
    Even though there's little written about Queen Heo Hwang-ok's origins in Korean historical documents and next to nothing in Indian history, the linguistic connection is glaring enough for even an "armchair historian" to connect the dots! It's rather the South India which has connections with most of South East Asian countries than the North (supposedly, around that time sea exploits were prohibited in North). Chollas have a big hand in this cultural exchange.
    This disregard for historic facts and accuracy will one day come bite us in the arse, as if we need more shaming for not knowing our own history! To all the Koreans who wish to travel India to see the birthplace of their famous Queen, I sincerely hope they do bit of research and not get fooled by "memorial" built in Ayodhya in the spirit of slipshod diplomacy!

      i am guessing you want to make a point here. so tell me where did zero came from? if you think it came from some place else you might be right.. but not as a mathematical tool but as a figure/symbol.. in mathematics it was in India that it was used in the decimal system. I hope this will clarify everything.
