Albrecht Durer is a fascinating artist. The Cleveland Museum of Art held a 'Medieval Monsters’ exhibit last year, which featured a number of Durer's woodcuts. Durer had impeccable technique and employed a style known as horror vacui, which is the dislike of unused space in a composition. I highly recommend seeking out his work if you're into this kind of thing.

There are lots of comments here suggesting the seller was careless or that Rick took advantage of him. The seller brought in a reproduction print worth around $100 at that time in a suitably inexpensive frame. He asked for $2,000. He never claimed that it was an original work of art. Rick talked it up as something valuable and gave the seller $5,500. That was generous and courageous of him.
Rick was on the right track when he said that copper plates are soft and wear down with use. The original plate was lost many centuries ago after producing the last faint impressions (see examples sold at Swann Auction Galleries on May 02, 2019, and Christie's on December 4, 2012). The printing is dark and heavy on the print in this video, even compared with the early impressions from Durer's plate. It lacks the subtlety of an original.
Rick was also on the right track when he identified the paper as from the 1700s or 1800s. It’s from the late 1800s. Corey raised a valid point when he suggested it must be fake because they never get masterworks in the shop.
The appraiser was clearly out of his area of expertise here. He referred to Durer’s original as an etching. Durer produced a few etchings, but this wasn’t one of them. Rick correctly referred to it as an engraving. In another episode, this appraiser referred to etchings by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo being worth tens of thousands of dollars. Neither Leonardo nor Michelangelo were known to produce any etchings, or any other kind of print. In the extremely unlikely event that one should ever be discovered, it will probably be in Las Vegas and will look distinctly unlike any of the artist's other work. I would expect it to go on sale for tens of millions, at least.
The appraiser points out the plate mark on this print, but this plate impression is beveled and outside of the image. The plate impressions on the originals are flat and located at the edge of the image. There is no basis for dating this impression to the 17th century. There are no known 17th century impressions of the original, and if there were, they would be very faint. There was no technology in the 17th century that could produce an accurate copy of an original such as this (although there are excellent early copies of some engravings with the image reversed).
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, various printing houses produced reproductions of Durer prints using a photographic technique they called heliogravure. The one in this video was printed from a plate produced by Charles Amand-Durand, usually referred to as Amand Durand. You can tell this is one of his by the mark that sticks out from the image border at the upper left where the ears of the upright horse are pointing. There is a close-up of this at 2:02. This mark is found on all the Amand Durand copies and on none of the originals or reproductions by other printers.
I have a bunch of these. I bought my first on EBay in 2013 for $79.99. They have generally gone up in price since then, but I was fortunate to find one on EBay for $73.96 in 2020. There is always some dealer trying to sell one for more than a thousand dollars. They rarely sell at those prices.

I bet when the seller watched this and saw he let something go of great value for only $5,500 only to see it was worth upwards of $50,000 I bet he crapped himself and lost his dam mind lol
Never be in a hurry to sell something that could be of great value.

To CORRECT what was said below...Rick said he thought it was 1700 or 1800s.
Expert said it was "17th Century" (1600s).; So Rick, in this case, lucked out, as it's a print about 100 years after Durer died...on original plate.
