I’ve been asked a few times to do this song so I thought I’d give it a go.
I have an injured left hand so my guitar playing might not be as good as normal but I’ve done my best in a song full of barre chords haha!

“"Eyes Without a Face" is a song by English rock musician Billy Idol, from his second album Rebel Yell (1983). It was released in 1984 as the second single from the album. The song is softer and more ballad-like than most of the album's other singles. It reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Idol's first Top 10 hit in the USA. The recording features the voice of Perri Lister-she appeared in the banned video for "Hot in the City"-who sings "Les yeux sans visage" (French for "Eyes without a face") as a background chorus. Nobody could ever say that you didn’t nail it or exceed the original version. There is no doubt you are more vocally gifted than Billy. That being said Billy was a Punk Rocker. Thank you for stirring up his memory. I am saddened by the music industry & have turned my back & just enjoy my catalogue that I grew up with. Thank you for reminding me of Billy & GenX. The old school is the good school.

My absolute favorite BFI song. I was definitely born in the wrong generation I love the 80’s so damn much!! What a beautiful version ❤ this song was playing on my CD player in my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee when I got word that my grandpa had passed away. I just turned it up as loud as it would go to try to drown out the shock and pain.
