    Terrific video. My mom will be having shoulder surgery and is very interested in purchasing a bidet. What I wish more than anything is that I find someone nice and knowledgeable like yourself to provide care for her for a few weeks. 🙏🏻

    You can buy this type of bidet seat for $500 Cdn, Easy to install, at most $200. We drilled a hole to the next room behind the toilet to plug the power in. This saved electrical installation cost.
    Agree 100% that this is a very good investment.

    Great Video covering some of the features and the benefits, especially those with special needs. The electrical outlet needs to be a GFCI type of electrical outlet for safety. Aloha.

    I bought an Alpha Bidet JX that is almost identical to the Cascade 3000 from Bidet King for $399. It doesn’t have the odor fan but does all the other functions. It has a three year warranty instead of four year and has a smaller less noticeable remote. I’m very happy with it and the price was great.

    Great review! i was wondering if you could do a comparison review with the Brondell S1400-EW Swash 1400 and the Bio Bidet Bliss BB2000 which are slightly more budget friendly but seems to have all the features that this model has.

    I got an attachable bidet about a year ago and I can't imagine living without one. Before, I would use wet tiny cut out squares of paper towels from the kitchen and use it as a wet wipe, fortunately it never clogged up anything. Then, I decided to just hope in the shower real quick and just wash that area afterwards. That got a bit tiresome, so I finally decided to get a bidet, and all my problems were solved. Took me awhile to learn how to use it, kept messing up. Now, I'm like a pro at it. For drying, I first tried toilet paper, but it shredded up so badly, so then I decided to use small cut out squares of paper towels, that worked. But, I wanted to do away with paper completely, so I decided to use a full size bathroom towel. I have two of them hung up, one for drying my body after a shower and the other for regular daily use for drying hands, face, etc. The trick is to use parts of the towel for certain areas, and not use it for anything else. So, middle of the towel, face, a little off from there, my hands, and way at the bottom I use after using the bidet. It works for me, and I haven't had any problems. I only pat the outside of by bum, not the middle part(you know what I mean). The middle part I never dry. It dries on itself own real quick because of my body heat evaporates it. Sometimes, I don't even use a towel. I just use the bidet and off I go. My body heat dries it rather quickly, like within 15 minutes or so.

    Wonderful video. Do you have any recommended mobile shower commode which is compatible with the Bidet? Thx.

    • @EquipMeOT
      @EquipMeOT  Před 2 lety

      Excellent question. I know this style could work with a roll over commode if it was relatively close clearance to the actual seat height. Because it has an adjustable position spray nozzle, you could probably get it in the right spot with a little trial and error. I love Raz brand rolling shower chairs but have never attempted to use them with this type of bidet.

    Got this because we really needed a sittable lid in a very small bathroom. But it is nowhere near the engineering or manufacturing quality of the Toto Washlet that it replaced. I'd also note that while it is a pretty easy install on a standard toilet, the 'install from the top' option for toilets where you don't have practical access to the underside is really a second-best solution and will require regular readjustment and retightening (e.g. on a Toto). The only alternative is to yank the entire toilet, install the seat, and then reinstall the toilet-a pretty expensive option if you call in a plumber.

    Hi, I really like a lot of the features that this bidet offers but I have some concern about where the seat and hinge for the lid meet. It appears there is quite a large area where hinge would dig into your butt when sitting on it. It did not he lie flat as most other bidets did. Can you please tell me how well suited it is as a bariatric bidet?

    Can you tell me if any of the toilet seat bidet's work with risers? We watched the video where you installed a non-seat bidet with a riser but really want something with the drying feature.

      I haven’t personally tried any systems for riser compatibility. I have to imagine it’s possible!

    Hello! I was wondering if you had any Bidet recommendations for individuals with very limited fine motor coordination, poor hand strength and limited UE ROM who cannot reach back and manipulate the controls on a standard bidet. thanks!

    • @EquipMeOT
      @EquipMeOT  Před 2 lety +1

      I reviewed a rather pricey (but really exceptional) bidet that was designed with a super accessible control system. Large buttons on a remote that can be placed anywhere (within reason) for the best patient access. They even said they’d tested the remote in the floor for foot control! It’s called the Cascade 3000.

      I'm in Canada and I just bought this Bidet. All in, with duty, it was just over 1300.$. The price was, in fact 800.$USD, but with conversion it was1200$CDN. The delivery time was slightly annoying because it sat in customs in Toronto for 4 days, but TOTALLY worth it. My 94 year old dad with very limited range of motion in his arms, loves it! It preserves his dignity by not having to have me, his daughter around at all times to help with hygiene and gets him cleaner than I ever could. He had no problem figuring it out and he was all smiles when we installed it.

    EquipMeOt does this bidet let you choose cold water when you want it? Or does it only spray warm to hot water? Also does it have an oscillating feature. We have a bidet now that the wand moves back and forth which is very nice

    • @EquipMeOT
      @EquipMeOT  Před 2 lety

      There is a choice of water temperature and the bidet wand can be moved back and forth manually, but doesn’t oscillate on its own.

    • @cda3715
      @cda3715 Před 2 lety +1

      @@EquipMeOT I just saw a video by dignity solutions who I guess makes the cascade bidet. They say if you hit rear button for a wash, and while it’s running you hit rear wash button again it will turn on an oscillating feature. If you hit rear wash again it will turn off oscillation and the wash will continue. Then you have to hit stop to stop just the wash. Or if oscillation is on you can just hit stop to stop the wash altogether.
      As for the water temp. Do you know if the lowest water temp setting is cold. My wife said cold water feels really good on hemorrhoids and hopes that this bidet has a cold water setting.

    • @EquipMeOT
      @EquipMeOT  Před 2 lety

      That’s good to know! I’ll try the oscillating feature. I find the coldest setting is definitely cool enough to be refreshing if that’s what you prefer!
