Thank you for watching and subscribing! I thought the same at first but something about it bugged me. I agree it would of passed but I guess I’m trying to figure out what went wrong so I can prevent it hopefully. I have a redo video coming out once I paint it this week.
maybe before you cleared you could of lightly sand the base with 600-800 very lightly, add 2 more coats of paint watch the paint to see if it smooths out then clear if the bodywork, primer not showing thru the base , it happened to me on a pick up truck old man said sand it down lightly added 2 more coats it will look way better..
I thought about doing that but was worried it was too much of a high metallic base that I would have trouble with the scratches. But definitely worth giving it a try. Thank you for the tips 👍🏻
I do boat work it’s like a body shop for boats and I’ve had that issue where the lines are just noticeable my only issue was applying to much pressure on the block it’s fast and what not but can leave deep scratches that just show can go finer grit or not to much pressure on the block that helped me
Nice ! Yes the block scratches can dig in deep if too pressure applied. Like you said a finer grit will help ! Usually our 320 DA sander will erase them. But they’d hoped right through. Boats are trickier too being that they are fiber glass
@@geraalday6088 i wanted to work in automotive body shop and still do but I’m stuck at a boat repair shop. Seems easier and more interesting than what I do
@@sega2229 remember it’s never to late. Plus you already have the fundamentals I would say it would be an easy transition! Not sure exactly how boat owners are but some car owners can be hard to deal with
watching from nyc nj area bro I see what you seeing but it looks passable water sand it down 1500 move up to 2500.and give it a good compound
