Thanks, your review and advice definitely helped us make our day as great as it was! I can absolutely see Toutatis being just the kind of stand-out coaster the park needed with an already great lineup. It reminds me of what Iron Gwazi did for Busch Gardens.

I swore never to ride it again, BUT…. in ‘06, other people had convinced me that it was better. They were (as expected) WRONG!! Unless I see a complete tear-down and rebuild (which I feel Vekoma can now do), it retains its’ “NEVER AGAIN” status. Loved TdZ in 2002. But in 2006, cold, rainy day. First drop was fine, but it crawled thru the rest of the course. Just wondering… did you find/do the Vekoma “Mad House”?? One of the better ones! (Villa Volta @ Efteling being the best imo.)
😂 I said “please!” Perhaps I should’ve said it in French… or Dutch… There have actually been a number of reports from people who got a decent ride on it recently, but I got clocked in the jaw more than once by it. So I think I’m in the same boat as you. That’s a shame about the cold rainy day, and one of the drawbacks to having such a long layout. With the changes Gravity Group made, lowering some hills and removing the helix, it flies through the second half. We missed the madhouse. The ride description did not do a good job describing what it was, so we just sort of glanced over it. I didn’t find out until afterwards that it was a madhouse. Next time for sure.
