GG to the Flames, Canucks were gassed and it showed.
Happy to see Huberdeau looking better at last.
Hope the boys can bounce back Saturday for Seattle.
Was not expecting to win this, nice pleasant surprise for my birthday. Went to the dome for the atmosphere and the alcohol… got a win as well.
Go Flames 🔥
Wow you too, I said tonight before the game "can the flames give me this one for my birthday?"
Same here my birthday too happy birthday u guys
It was my son’s 7th birthday tonight too, he had a great time

Good game by Calgary, they were absolutely dancing out there. Bad game for Canucks, but they are missing some really key impact players, and it messes up the chemistry of the lines. This comment section is sad. People, you can't win every game. It's not the end of the world to lose a game. There is still 65+ games to go. Don't get ahead of yourselves. Be positive, it's good for the world!
How does it mess up chemistry when most of what I’m seeing is individual give always? Hughes with a weak pass, got school on defence, is this your defence man of the year? Not tonight, and you blame it on chemistry. 😂😂😂
@@eric6650 Dam dude one bad game. guys a +15 right now and is playing with another d partner then what he has been playing with. Settle down a bit. Hughes right now is not our defence man of the year so far hes the Nhl's defence man of the year

5 Games in 8 nights with 2 back to backs in those 5 games . Also had a east coast road trip. They are GASSED and it showed.
yepp
You just can’t accept a loss huh? That’s your excuse, most teams go through a trip like that at least once and you just can’t lose.
@@haidodinho7635 I accept the loss. But Flame fans cant accept they just beat a team that hardly showed up to play. Flames are marching to the cup from what ive heard from them. You know Alberta motto this year. "Cup or Bust!" lol
Canucks didn't play well tonight and they actually didn't play well last night as well but they managed a win last night. If you are a bottom line guy, that counts for something. Two of the goals against tonight were on Pettersson as he let his man go. I know they are back to back games. Guess what? There will be more back to back games coming. On the positive side, the rookie Linus Karlsson was solid and am glad to see Hoglander scored. Wish Garland put a few more in. He, like Hoglander, has played so hard.
Canucks are SO much better than what they put out tonight.
I get if it was fatigue due to having to fly out to Calgary straight after the Islanders game last night and arriving really early in the morning, but it's just difficult to use that for any reason when teams can still win 2 games in a back to back.
Hughes's worst performance by far this season. Really needs to get back on his defensive game.
Cannots will always the cannots
they should of won it!
5 games 8 nights. Just finished a east coast road trip. 2 back to backs within those 5 games. They are gassed.
Yes ur right, we had a very disappointing game, but we were very fatigued as well. Obv we can’t win them all but it’s also annoying playing our back up goalie twice in our last 4 games due to back to back games
@@hopityhop123 No it isn't. It's to make sure the goalie depth is well up for it when it comes to the extremely heavy schedule the team has to deal with. How can you play better when you can't play at all? I think DeSmith has been a great addition to the team.
Wow that was some sharp play making by the flames 🤠 GO FLAMES🔥
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
The flames jerseys are literally fire!!
Man if the Canucks would have burried some of there chances in the first period this would have been a totally different game. Good game for a back to back. Can't win them all. Last 10 games the Canucks have been ridiculous. They will bounce back. Not have Soucy and Kuzmenko is gonna hurt. 4 days ago they were out East give the boyz a break. Weird part is the Flames got a couple lucky bounces and the Canucks didn't. Its not like the Canucks gave up massive scoring chances like we have seen in the last 8 years lol.
With the Canucks missing Soucy, Suter & Kuzmenko, their chemistry lacked. After playing the NYI the night before, the Nucks looked deflated & tired. I'm quite upset because Toronto & Calgary are my most hated teams & losing to them is a kick in the ass!
Tyler Myers was useless
You are my favourite Vancouver fan. Only one saying the truth. Not “they were gassed because of a hop, skip and jump from city to city.
@@haidodinho7635 if Tyler Myers is out on the PK then it's a 5 on 3 and it's Toc's fault if they score
Nice go Calgary !!!
I benched lindholm on my fantasy league knowing he would play well because of it. Not even mad.
I’m not surprised that Van lost tonight from last nights game.
Should’ve lost last night tbf. If teams get tired like that than why even play. Can’t use laziness for an excuse.
"You could hear the crowd roar" - Kelly, 2023
Nice crisp passing by the flames finally
They were gonna loose this game boys were tired and broken but what does this say about the depth in the team Juulson is not a 7th dman he has good stints and bad stints idk why wolanin or Mcward didnt get a chance also wouldve rather seen Hirose than Karlsson but i think it was his birthday and he played good Desmith stellar as always rest up for saturday these guys need a break you kinda knew they were tired when hughes just couldnt skate away anyother game and hes dancing around calgary good on the flames to keep that pressure on us and Marky great as ever
You don’t want to use being tired as an excuse, but when you are playing your 5th game, in a 5th different city, over 3 different time zones, in 8 nights, it’s just a fact. Canucks looked fatigued and the Flames were the more desperate team. DeSmith didn’t play his best game either and let in some questionable goals.
While he wasn't great, frankly no-one else on the team was any better either.

Lol you would think a team never played a back to back with a one hour flight lol
Calgary played in Montreal Tuesday...enough with the excuses
They played 2 back to backs in 6 days, traveling to 4 cities in the process. If the Canucks would be playing Calgary at home after facing Islanders, that would be a different matter. And seriously? Calgary played Montreal on TUESDAY meaning they had an actual day to settle and rest up at home before this game. ANY competent team would be sure to be fully rested up in a day prior to another game. That does not help your argument at all.
@@Twilitblack I don't need an argument I'm not the one making excuses. Every team plays back to backs...like the Leafs on Saturday when they also pounded the Canucks
Bad loss for the Canucks, losing to a team that was not doing well this season.

Zadorov shouldn't go to Toronto. Better come to Tampa, Capitals, or Vancouver
Canucks were clearly gassed. They played an OT game 2500 miles away last night, which is crazy scheduling. But that’s the NHL sometimes.

Forgive a few for being overtly excited it's an exceptional start
But its not like we're toeonto fans boasting that we're the best EVERY SINGLE YEAR LOL
They be delusional ;)
but anyone's who unbiased has to be rather impressed with the stats and wins thus far

Don't mean it won't go the full distance only tike will tell that

@@KILGORETROU7 it’s not just over a day though. They just lazy, Imagine in the playoffs. “They were just tired, which is why they blew a 2-0 series lead.”
Not sure how to reply to this we're down 3 players.....line ups drastically changed and after the puck squeaked by desmith in the first period it was evident that calgary was gonna win as we had no flow or energy for the rest of the game
Props to em too even that crossbar shot shoulda went in as desmith was easily beaten their
But that's the point our team was beat it showed
When the highlights of the game are Linus, myers, garland trying hard and hogz (surr petey scored a beauty but he was pretty much hounded and pounded most of the game so he did what petey could do, which is hard to complain about even when he is off
But to talk about playoffs we'll there is days to rest
Unlike flying to Calgary and arriving this morning after playing an ot game late last night
Personally these comments and bashes are lazy
Makes me think your just a toronto fan lol
Losing the second half of a back to back is going to happen - but a bigger narrative tonight was a number of questionable hits (elbow, wrist slash, etc) on Canucks' best players (Miller, Hughes and Pettersson, Boeser) and the Canucks capacity to respond. It does raise a question of team toughness to deter such things yet again.
Pathetic, Hughes just got taken to school(looked like he wished he was back on the golf course with that effort), took a page out of Myers pathetic D-man playbook. Everyone watching the puck and we’re only 2 months in. LOL!!!! It’s like when they win a game the start slacking. Where’s that effort when they dismantled McDavid and company? I thought I was being punked, they were looking a lot like their usual losing team self a year ago.

No team is going to win every game. I still think the team might have found a way if that high stick against Garland was called. Would've been a double-minor. BUT, no doubt that the Canucks got severely outworked this game. Sure it was a back-to-back but I thought they could've put a BIT more into a comeback attempt. The typical Canucks, can't beat a bad team. People said that this team is the real deal? I don't think so. I know it was a back to back, but most of the Canucks played bad. it wasn't 1 game they played 5 in the last 8 days 2 back 2 backs of course your gonna be tired lol
In a 7 game playoff series, you're playing against the same team, taking turns playing home and away. A level playing field where both teams face the same level of fatigue. Good game for the Flames, but as for the real deal, you only need to look as far as the standings and stats to show how good they really are.
