I my goodness, is this divine? The ballads this year really have scored top marks. What a vocalist, arrangement. This has a Bond quality too for me. Another top 10, I'm in a tizz now. I am sooo looking forward to the live.

I think lyrics are fine enough... more than SloMo "lyrics" for sure lol. At the start I thought this year would be weak, but there are very good songs... Portugal, Ukraine, Sweden, Serbia, Czech Rep., Poland, now Azerbaijan...

Italy sounds weak in the falsetto and the harmonies are off. At least that's how it sounds to me. I tried to like it but just can't. Can't seem to like Azerbaijan either, not sure why. Estonia and Australia moved me to tears though. I thought theirs were the best vocals.

He has a nice voice but I don't think it's suited to this kind of song. I feel like, with the huskiness, he'd be better in a rock song or something with more of a beat to it. The video and style remind me of Vasil 'Here I Stand' from North Macedonia last year, which was completely different from the 2020 entry song 'You'.
Edit: I found a song Nadir did called 'Bu da son' and it's awesome!
Bu da son is Azerbaijani version of Day after day sung by Elnur and Samir in 2008 ESC in Belgrade
I can sing it all except that last note. Is it possible I can learn to hit that last note or am I screwed? And being castrated isn't an option I'd consider Lol. It made me very emotional in the final and was one of my personal favourites. Although I heard it as depression is the price I pay which makes it a lot darker.

I am not sure what is wrong with you.. THis is one of the least dull ballads Ive heard in a decade. As she said, the lyrics leave somethign to be desired, but his execution and the score overall are outstanding.
