    BIG CHANNEL NEWS! Over the last few months I've had a big problem. The problem has been that I am continuing to accumulate footage faster than I can post it. This has led to me having a huge backlog of unseen footage. The only remedy I see to this situation is to increase the number of videos I post every week! So, starting on Thursday, May 16th, I will be uploading ten (10) videos per week! Here is what you can expect with this change. There will continue to be one video posted everyday at 4:00pm Central Time. AND! On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I will also post a second video at 10:00am Central Time. From now on you'll also know exactly what type of video is going to be posted on each day, and at each time. Every week you will now see four (4) Short Clip episodes, two (2) Inflight episodes, one (1) Travel episode, two (2) Spotting episodes, and one (1) Time-Lapse episode. Here is a full list of each weekly slot, and what series will be in each slot!
    Sunday 4:00pm - Short Clip Series
    Monday 10:00am - Spotting Series
    Monday 4:00pm - Inflight Series
    Tuesday 4:00pm - Short Clip Series
    Wednesday 10:00am - Time-Lapse Series
    Wednesday 4:00pm - Travel Series
    Thursday 4:00pm - Short Clip Series
    Friday 10:00am - Spotting Series
    Friday 4:00pm - Inflight Series
    Saturday 4:00pm - Short Clip Seires
    As you can see the 4:00pm slots are filled with nothing but onboard footage from the Short Clip, Inflight, and Travel Series. The 10:00am slots on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will contain spotting and time-lapse footage. Thank you all for your continued support! I can't believe we've already passed 6,500 subs!

    I’m guessing they’ll use the second gate once MQ starts JLN->ORD?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 5 lety +3

      Yes they are. They will be using both gates, and I've heard they're about install a new gate podium/screen/scanner etc. at the second gate. They'll have two overnight aircraft, one at each gate. Thanks for watching my friend!

    I love the A321 always a comfortable ride. PHL is my home airport but I have yet to try the LAA A321. It would be cool to try one.
    Love the buzz as well.

      You've got to love those IAE engines! And I'd agree. I quite enjoy flying on the A321. I've always found it to be more comfortable then the equivalent Boeing offering. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Travel days are always my favorite, as I’ve said before! You continue to do a great job with these videos my friend :) What do you do with all of this footage after you’re done editing?

      Thanks my friend! I'm really glad you enjoy these episodes. As for my old footage. I have over 10 TB of external hard drive space that I keep all of that on. Yes that's TB as in 10 Terabytes. Thanks for watching man!

    When you are apart of ground crew you get to fly that much? Or is some another job

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 5 lety

      Well that depends on which company you work for. Some airlines do their own ground handling, and some airlines use contractors. The easiest way to look at it is, if you work for the actual airline you get flight benefits and can fly for free. If you work for a contractor you do not. For example. If you work for American Airlines or one of their subsidiaries (Envoy Air or Piedmont) you get American flight benefits, but if you work for G2, Swissport, etc. You do not. If you're asking if I work on a ground crew and that's how I fly so much? No. I do not. I do not work for any of the airlines in any way. Thanks for watching man!
