Could you guys possibly fight someone who's not fantastic at the game, more on D's level? I mean D's generally pretty good at stuff, but he's fairly average when it comes to 40k, and watching him get stomped again by the same woman is a little sad haha
He needs more help with list building as well. Both games he brought an expensive single model in a 50pl game. Stormraven with his blood angels, then the wraith knight. I don't think she is that good though. Adam seems like he stepped in a few times to explain basic things in the game.

@@Leopardts 8th edtion is pretty easy to learn, but alot think its too simple and dont like it.
I don't like opponents like her, she just excessively celebrates every single thing that goes well for her and rubs salt in the wound.
Gotta praise D for keeping a cool head even when dealing with that.
There was one or two cheeky rule pushing on her behalf to tbh. The destroyer squad took a three damage hit and she placed it on the model with one wound left. I know it's not a very clearly stated definite but felt a little unfair considering D had not killed a single unit that while game and would have if she was a little nicer with wound allocation.
@@Antikythera_Fox yeah, also correct me if I'm wrong but when she was shooting at the reapers first turn, she could only see one model but she ended up taking out multiple. Isn't there a rule that says she could only take out the one visible model or am I mistaken?
Yeah. She seemed just a little too energetic at Ds bad luck.

I've definitely house ruled that as you would only kill that one dude, you'd seriously kill him tropic thunder style but the wounds wouldn't carry unless you had a gun that doesn't need line of sight. I guess they were tesla so you could weasel your way out that way but then you enter the realm of becoming "that guy" which she is in serious danger of anyway.

Her lists I’ve seen are so fricken boring. Also the reroll all failed hits and wounds for 1 command point on destroyers is BS. Disclaimer: Necrons are the only 40k army I play.

I like that everyone has their own tabletop thing. D does 40k, Sam is the DnD DM and Niko is into Catan. Brandon plays DnD with the rest of the guys too.

As a total W40k noob, Necrons getting to just resurrect seems pretty broken.
If the entire squad of units are wiped it stays down and they only get up on a 5 or 6. D needed aoe or smaller multiple units instead of the giant walker. Each unit had 2 hp so they aren't that hard to wipe.
Only really in this game. They ALL pay for reanimation protocols right off the bat, so they're more expensive (less unit diversity) and only really effective when spammed (even less unit diversity) because a wiped unit can't roll for it. Add in that she used a ton of multi-wound models, and it seems much more powerful in this game than it usually is. An interesting ability, but not always too useful other than for forcing your opponent to waste massive amounts of firepower to make sure a unit stays down.
My two favorite channels once again, and they have such a charismatic combo! Love it when you guys play, despite the distance! Keep it up, all of you!

Love these ones! I do wish she would use different dice or you guys set up a light diffuser on whatever light is over the roll box because I can’t see any of her rolls basically with the shine of her dice.
I cannot define my hype for this video! Always see D wearing WH40k shirts in vids and have wished for them to get some exposure!
Gotta paint that other set and run a gauntlet of matches. Or pick up some other sets and have a 4 way battle and/or a 2v2 match.

Gives a good variety of fighters and a wide variety of possibilities. Hopefully D has the Tyranids Dominatrix as this would allow for a go big fight from all sides.

Teleports more than 9" away turn 1 and then successful on an 8" charge? Doesn't work. Other than that I would love you to play a bigger game. Low powerlevel just feels like a cheese fest. Good stuff.
Was going to comment on this as well. Rules are more then 9" from a target. so She needed a 9 on the dice to get within 1". Glad to see her cheese list goes well with forgotten rules.
She used 'My Will Be Done' on that unit, which gives a +1 to charge.

More like everything was just really stacked in this match. The Necrons are definitely on the strong side with the codex, but this was just painful--she brought a lot of the necron's best units while D's list was kinda flawed, her units were perfect for taking out his units, the objectives played her way, and D rolled very low. They're good, but not overpowered.

Have you tried Star Wars Legion? It's like a watered down Warhammer with Star Wars. Since it just came out in the past year or so it's not as in depth with unit availability yet, but it's still pretty fun!

You're correct. This was the first game I used them so wasn't too used to their rules.
@@pakman184 I used to run it but I'd rather take a normal Farseer than Yvraine. Extra shooting from Dark Reapers is nice but guide and fortune is better over all I feel.

Matthew Ahn nah. It’s just a benefit of playing Necrons. It’s stuff like that that make armies different. Just like Eldar get D scythes that super destroy almost anything. Or their wave serpents being super good, especially for transports.
But then again. Explosions. Lots of explosions.
