you make it look so easy! i'm going to try and change mine tomorrow! i presume it will be the same on a 2004 corolla?

well i did it...eventually! i had the new pads on in no time at all. then such a struggle to get the piston back in. i made 2 trips to the hardware shop, first time i got a plumbers pliers that you used in the video. didn't budge it. then i went and got a C clamp. i couldn't budge it with all my strength with the C clamp handle alone so i popped another longer bar on it for more leverage. why was it so stuck?

Very good, but if you were actuallt replacing the pads, must you do anything to the rotor (if not worn)? Resurface, surface with sandpaper, replace?

Hi Peter, I have been trying to change front brake pads on my Toyota avensis 2002, 1.8L Liftback and I have problems to open the caliper. I have seen many videos but I could not find caliper bolts. the caliper bolts are covered by a rubber that I could not reach them. I can send you pictures if you need. Any opinions would be appreciated. thanks!

Are you teaching 4 year olds in this video? Latex gloves on top of other gloves. Be extra extra extra careful not to get your hands dirty. Man up Peter!!!
