I didn't make a mess of the flour and woke up the next day to see the rest of my sweet rolls stolen. Please remember to make a mess of the flour to scare off any potential sweet roll burglars
First rule of flour: it will always make a mess, particularly in mysterious ways that you realize after you've "cleaned up". First rule of icing (and cheesecake): it's the flavor that matters. Texture and consistency are inconsequential. Just stuff it in your mouth.
I appreciate you including your mistakes and how you modified the base recipe, that way we can learn more from the video. Also, drinking milk alongside this makes it seem like quite a Skyrim-hated treat (yes, I am a proud milk drinker).
This is hilarious 😂😂😂 combat music every time messing sth up and especially when opening the flour literally made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂 Your sense of humor is a gem 💎
Sort of look like Swedish sockerkaka (meaning sugar cake) but with added frosting. We even call those baking tins suger cake forms. Never thought about in game, but seeing real sweetrools ignited some sparks of recognition in the ol' dome.
That’s so cool. I had no idea such a cookbook existed. Bravo for having doubled back to attempt the elusive icing correctly. Since the icing had a higher viscosity and seems to stay where you put it, had that been my attempt, I would’ve continued the art project motif with a vain attempt of smearing the icing down the sides in the design of a drizzle.
I figured the proper way to ice them was just to dip the top into the icing, then flip it over and let it run down the sides, rather than spooning it on. I know that's how you ice a donut.
I love the cookbook. I've made a few recipes from them (not all successful) but it has been nice. I recommend the birch cookies if you haven't already tried them. They're delightful. This video was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it the whole way through. Can't wait to see what you do next. I'm also like two months behind but I will be slowly making my way through the Morrowind streams, life is just so busy with work and a Skyrim project I've been doing (going on a year of work, now) but your videos are always a good time and I'm glad to have found your channel. And your outfit was amazing. Felt like several steps up from one of the outfits in the game.

Awesome as always! Athough, fair warning to you or anyone who would want to follow Skyrim's recipes IRL. Most of them are fine but a few are nonsensical or even dangerous. There's one in particular that contains an ungodly amount of nutmeg. Nutmeg is safe when used normally, but such a high dose could send you straight to Sovngarde.... I wish I was making this up. So have fun but apply common sense everyone, and stay safe 😉
Yes! I own the cookbook, and my recommendation is to half some of the spices on some of the recipes, this cookbook in particular goes crazy with them. I made the snowberry crostata and it had way too much nord spices, even though I followed the recipe to the t.

@@amalibatullin33 For the Sunlight Souffle (the one with a metric f***ton of nutmeg) I'd do a even a lot less than a half though. You may want to not even try it at all. For those who don't know, nutmeg is actually a psychedelic at high doses, except a lot less pleasant than most psychedelics, and unlike most psychedelics, you can OD on it. And for some people, and if the OD is bad enough, yeah, it's good bye for you. I know this because uh, reasons.
You are so beautiful. Those blue eyes look so sweet and compassionate. You have a smile that lights a room. You look so familiar like someone I've always known but I want to learn everything about. I wish I could be so lucky to have a lady that genuinely loves so many different and interesting things like you.
I was about to eat some icecream and was a bit distracted so I got startled when you talked about burning the butter at 1:01 and the combat music started lol.
It is from Fallout 3. In the tutorial phase during your 10th birthday party your character gets a sweetroll as present what your bully Butch tries to take. This scenario can act out several ways.
Cool, this is a lot like the Swedish pastry sockerkaka (sugar cake), I never made that connection in game. Also you totally had me convinced you were an experienced baker until you said you weren't!
Angelika thinks I had dignity to restore. What a grand and intoxicating innocence. Now if you'll excuse me, there is apparently an enemy somewhere in my house...
I'd suggest you buy a set of measuring spoons (Ikea has decent ones, but I'm sure other stores sell them too), it looked like you were using regular tablespoons and teaspoons, which don't usually have a standart volume, and proportions are super important in baking. Because if an american recipe says to use "one tablespoon" that doesn't mean an actual tablespoonful of it, it means exactly 0.5 liquid ounces.
The book has a conversion chart to metric system - I roughly measured and purposefully used a bit less of everything because when I did the trial with exact measurements, it was waaaayy too much for my little molds lol
HONNINGBREW HONEY?! Swill! Black-Briar may have dirty money but their mead so fresh and so clean. (The drug mod doesn't do the drunken effect for Honningbrew, so it's character lore that I hate it with a passion.)
Epic waifu material right here. My wife never makes me sweet rolls, and never even lets me drink any mead. I play a lot of sad songs on my lute because this.
What should we cook next? 👀👩🏻🍳
What are the options that you know how to and that are in your cookbook?
Azura’s bath water
Cocina a cheto
Is there a recipe in that book for Skooma? Make that!
Eleswyr fondue, or ash horker stew
I like the combat music whenever something goes slightly wrong
Very funny.
haha, brilliant!
Her sweet rolls bring all the Nords to the yard 🎉

I told you
@@Angelikatosh Sadly I made them before the video was published with my copy of the book and must've skimmed over that part

It was literally everywhere
I cook a recipe with tapioca flour/casava starch. That stuff gets EVERYWHERE
Strong disagree with the icing rule! Texture is everything, I'm not eating if it's wrong
@@michaelcutler5538 maniok starch is even worse imo. how can something get powder everywhere without the bag even getting opened?
I'd be a lot warmer and a lot happier with a bellyful of these sweetrolls
The combat music every few minutes really kept me on my toes
The takeaway is quicksave early, quicksave often.
Loved the frequent combat encounters.
First to steal the sweetroll
"First you're gonna want to make a big mess" lol the honesty and sense of humor made this very endearing to watch. Your sweetrolls look yummy :)
hoping this channel slowly morphs into you living like an elder scrolls character over time :)
That’s EXACTLY where this is headed. Somebody gets it 😅
Hey, its Kenneth!
Got my sweet roll stolen by some snotty nosed kid in Vault 101, on my birthday no less...
Oh no! That's terrible! He must have been hungry - I bet his mom drank up all the ration cards😒
I gave mine to him, after i spit on it, hah!
@@et34t34fdf Classy! ^_^
What a shame.
get outta the ladies restroom denton!
Hoo boy, can't wait to make my kitchen look like someone put a firecracker in the flour bag, lit it and ran.
"Step 12: Ruin everything" Absolutely crucial step here, DO NOT forget this.😄
I loved the multiple unhinged moments. Felt like I was being threatened. You take this very seriously. Haha
The scary Skyrim music is sending me😭
First the sweetroll
then the world
I appreciate you including your mistakes and how you modified the base recipe, that way we can learn more from the video.

Sick, next you should whip up some horker stew
Now we need a tutorial on how to make a fortify restoration potion irl
Sweet moon sugar icing - really enjoying this video
They do look very nice, and they seem relatively light - I don't like food that's very sweet or very fatty.
Really light and not too sweet, perfect with a coffee, or maybe some mead…
Somebody stole my arrow in the knee, because I used to be an adventurer, but then I took a sweet-roll. I think I got it right this time.
Cook, gamer, streamer, speaks English and Spanish like a pro. She’s the chosen one guys.

This channel is such a vibe. I love it.
Beautiful sweetrolls!
Thank you so much! Sending you virtual sweetrolls my friend
alright, I've watched ~10 of your videos.
With this one you've won me as a sub :D
Officially welcome to the channel bro
Fimmion is gonna love this one
People have made this recipe on YT before but this is the first time I remember someone doing it where I could follow it.

Wow. You continue to amaze me, my lady. Another rad video!
This is the opposite of Bob Ross. There are no happy accidents in the cooking of Skyrim.
Loved every moment of this.

They look so good. 🤤
Absolutely wonderful!❤
its crazy how the sweetrolls came out perfect from the oven that sounds like a fun thing to bake
I made my own version of these for New Years and went in a lemon direction and they turned out great!
Perfect, I've been looking at the Skyrim Cookbook for a while, as I really want to make Sweetrolls 🙂
Thank you for this! Plus, love your dress! 😍
Highly recommend, very easy recipe!! And thank you 🥰
This video made me so happy!
1:03 🤣 my heart rate jumped
What a sweet video. Thank you
"You'll have to start all over again" LOL the memories of restarting Morrowind because I wasn't happy with my choices. ^_^
For not worrying about burning butter, use lower heat. I've melted huge chunks without any burning like that.
by the nines, i feel like baking for some reason

For extra flavor, add jarrin root.
Sweet Rolls always looks good in Skyrim.
Adding to my baking list
Looking forward to Sujamma brewing tutorial
So this is the NPC experience channel! So cool!
I wanna try it! :3
Too sweet for comfort 👀
Looks delicious
I kind of hoped they would be without eggs and without yeast. Oh well, it was still nice to watch.
Remember to save often. The plains of The Kitchen can be a dangerous place
The food of gods. Reminds me of cinnamon buns.
My stolen sweet roll! Lol those do look delicious

You earned a like for using ml after you say “a cup of milk” for example, ❤
The icing is grande 😂
Sweet.
That sweetroll turned out great!
Would be terrible if someone were to steal it.
The mess is always the most important part, or seems to be based on the frequency it happens
hold on, making your own sweetrolls is great, but it's not really revenge
Sweet.❤️🤠
U are such a sweet roll yourself 😃🥰
NOOOOOO I LOVE THIS! ❤
I really recommend the recipe from Binging with Babish. Brioche makes it less bready and more cakey.
for the love of Azura, don't give any to Salmo the Skingrad baker! He'll make an even bigger mess and crash the game :D
moon sugar makes everything better
HONNINGBREW HONEY?! Swill! Black-Briar may have dirty money but their mead so fresh and so clean. (The drug mod doesn't do the drunken effect for Honningbrew, so it's character lore that I hate it with a passion.)
Those look very tasty
I'm going to merry this girl at the Mara's shrine, tonight, in my dreams
this is the content i need, i always look forward to your uploads 💯. the khajit apron tho 👌
She speaks multiple languages, she's very smart, beautiful, a die hard TES fan and can even cook Skyrim's sweetrolls. How can I marry you?
when it's listed like this.. Man, my heart... It sounds like a dream, doesn't it?
