  • Here is an after the fact video on how to remove the door panel on a Mercedes c207. Mine is a 2010 e350 coupe. Would be the same on an 550 and i think 2010 - 2012

Thanks for the video. On the A207 convertible there is an additional screw behind a small plastic cover that writes AIRBAG on it.
If you haven't broken the wood veneer part and it only just started to peel off do not try to remove it completely it will break towards the end like it looks on this C207 here. Remove the panel and glue the laminate veneer back with some JB Weld epoxy - you will need some weight while the glue sets on it to follow the contour.

Many Thanks...there is an additional screw on cars with side airbags and is accessed via the little plate marked AIRBAG on the top of the door to the right

    Hey Jim,
Can you tell me where you got the replacement wood trim?
    Thanks!

Adam R Adam, I got this at the dealer. I think it was $270. I tried to find elsewhere. No luck. Good luck.

Appreciate the gesture but totally useless in How to Actually Remove the panel. PS: The panel is identical to the 2011 E350 Cabriolet which I believe is a type W212, though MB themselves seem to get confused a lot.

The Cabriolet is the A207, the Coupe is the C207. The W212 is the sedan.
