- totally different type of video, just wanted to share this quick tip as I find it super useful but I don't think very many people know about it. Sorry about the terrible audio quality, I haven't gotten a mic yet.

I don't usually comment on videos, but this really helped me. After messing around with UVs and banging my head against a wall for so long, I finally found a tutorial that actually explains things normally.
Thank you, you magnificent person!
Holy moly
This feels like a dark, forbidden art, it worked so well for my energy cables.
Thank you so much for this hidden tome of blender knowledge
This thing worked so well, (with circular table) I feel like I learnt some forbidden knowledge.
No bs straight to the magic. Keep up the good work man. I like this video a lot.
After messing up with uv unwrapping for long time this video saved lot of time. Appreciate your effort in making this video.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! UV unwrapping was always giving me an oddly wavy projection and I could not figure out how to sort it out. This was the perfect salve! New sub!

That's great. Didn't know that UV option. Thanks. I usually still go with the outstanding RizomUV for this reason (one of many).

Straight to the point
Thank you very much this tutorial is so good
Indeed that's a great tip as long as you stay within Blender world and thanks for this. However, Scaling UV islands outside of the 0 to 1 UV space can introduce several potential issues:Compatibility with Rendering Engines: Some rendering engines or game engines may not support UV coordinates outside of the 0 to 1 range, or using software that doesn't fully support such UV layouts. Not not mention that if you try to bake vertex color onto a Diffuse color map this texture will be useless as it will have several artefacts.
Ay nice vid bro!
Life saver, thanks man!
Thank you so much for this!
Subscribing for more quick tips. Well explained, short, useful, just as it should be.

OMG THANKS MAN !!!!!!
This is the problem with CZcams. it's hard to find somebody who can make you aware of the bigger picture when you want to become a professional artist and need to use a variatey of softwares. We get stuck cause we dont know why things don't work as expected in other softwares....

@@milo3733 you're weird
what if my model is made out of triangles? because it is planned to be in a game... dissolving everything will take years...
But the texture is distorded
It’s not working for me with a cylinder shaped to a cone…
it won't work if the faces are triangular unfortunately. if you truncate that cone ever so slightly to make the faces quads it should work.
I have applied it helpfully but am not 100% satisfied
Oh WTF! great tutorial but WTF?!?
