BRDC formula 4 (F4) action from Brands Hatch Gp circuit in Kent, 30th August 2014, Mark Godwin Racing MSV4-013 chassis with Chris Middlehurst driving.
This is round 16 of the 24 race championship, a well supported grid (before the FIA got involved with their own F4 project in 2015) featuring George Russell, Will Palmer and a lot of others now in endurance racing from GT3/LMP3 upwards.
Chris is the son of Andy Middlehurst, another well known name in motorsport for his exploits in BTCC and National Saloons (with his R32 skyline).
The cars were a spaceframe chassis in a world of carbon so were only going to last so long before they were ruled as unsafe for modern racing, not a badly balanced thing, a little slow and heavy compared to some others but with a large grid the racing was good.
