Today I paid a visit to Diversey the chemical company and what a place it is.
As soon as I arrived one of the managers started on at me for videoing the plant, and as soon as I told them that the Dread Drone was going up, well they went into meltdown mode.

What a terrible representation of a company and it’s staff.
The guy making all the threats is a liability.
After seeing this let’s hope the customers and owners see how this company operates and takes action before his actions expose the company to huge liability.
Pity the workers inside. Notice the attitude of these Supervisors & Managers. This is how they talk to the minimum wage / zero hours staff. And then swear & encourage harm upon an individual. Well done Diversey. My company won't be buying any more of your cleaning products.

The criminal damage on private land guy was hilarious. He was probably the most clueless person I've ever seen in one of these videos.
Trespass and criminal damage are clearly VERY different.
I just can't get my head round what they object too, the sites are always on Google Maps, sure drone footage isn't exactly the same but near enough.
Logic and reasoning is not his strong point. He’d be the first to call the police if you walked onto their site and started smashing their vehicles.

Thing is though if hed damaged the drone it wasnt on private land it was in civil aviation airspace. So he was even more wrong than that
The Freeholder of the property does own the first 500ft of Airspace above his land and in some cases up to 1000ft and can have you trespassed The Black Belt Barrister did a VLOG on this Scotland is slightly different also since you get paid by CZcams you could be classed as a business and could be prosecuted under UK-GDPR as you are videoing I would not blindly carry on without checking first or you could be liable for prosecution.

One of the managers at the start seriously thinks you need permission to film people from public obviously doesn’t go into town or shops where CCTV is filming him all the time. I do not doubt that around the building are a few cameras as well filming hold while he was talking to you. You couldn’t make it up could you. Clowns are everywhere these days. @@brianbettis2137 it’s nothing to do with money per se, it’s about a camera. Money is a second issue as not all of them receive money for what they post. I’m not saying they all do get money but to some they do not receive any money at all.

By the look of that roof discolouring, I wonder if there has been any emissions of chemicals. Environmental Health certainly wouldn't be doing aerial checks like this.
Uncontrolled release of any halide into the environment is a serious hazard. Although iodine is generally not as dangerous as fluorine, chlorine (gases) and bromine (volatile) in order to get onto the roof like that it must have been in a gaseous state. That's probably why they don't want the drone flying over.
Environment Agency need to look into what they are venting into the atmosphere based on what’s happening to that roof.Seriously.
Just took a google earth tour of this place, took a screenshot from were you were standing Peter and had a good fly around and nobody tried to intimidate or interfere with me. I guess there is nobody on that sight that can operate a computer. Dove is one of their products that I use, now I will find an alternative to purchase. Will keep researching their product range to see what else I have to change.

Of course you have to ask people's permission to video them. Don't we all get asked if it's ok every time we go into Tesco's/Morrisons/ASDA/Sainsbury's/ALDI/LIDL/Waitrose/CO-OP and every High Street in England.
Big difference, they’re all companies and subject to GDPR. They’re obligated to tell you they’re filming by way of signs.

Once again, GDPR applies to companies, not individuals. As an individual there’s no requirement to protect another person’s data. Do you know how much work that would involve for the individual? Do you not remember the drain on company resources when this was first introduced in 2016 and enforced in 2018?

Try sending an auditor a FOI and then complain to the ICO when they fail to respond in 20 days. The ICO will have no clue who they are. They won't be registered and they won't be paying the annual £40 ICO registration charge.
