Not counting on it, WW and TP should’ve come out years ago, aside from potentially being delayed, why would they bother releasing them now
I really hope Twilight Princess gets one too! Maybe at the same time? If Nintendo decides to spoil us 😂. Both are fantastic in their own right.
While Midna is an awesome side character, my only criticism has always been Zelda. Her relationship with Link is more platonic while we have seen other incarnations show the love between the hero and the princess. All due to Demise’s curse.
I'll take TP over WW. WW's good, but TP is still my favorite.
@@a.jthomas6132I really want them to do kinda like a twilight re write/remaster cause I feel like they definitely could have done more with so much stuff as the game was rushed according to Nintendo as they were panicking making this game to kinda save the franchise so they had to scrape a lot of things as well as they didn’t wanna be to blast. Still my favourite game of the series a lot of others fall close and I feel the distance between them could have been bigger and the game could have been much more
I hate to say it, but Gamecube games will probably never be bundled together. They are just too valuable for Nintendo and the prime candidates to be sold separately.

Windwaker is my favorite Zelda game. Not because it give you the opportunity to explore the vast ocean by sea. Nor the toon Animation style that give characters more emotional expressions and it’s a continuation where Ocarina of Time left off. But it shows a sympathetic side of Ganondorf we haven’t seen before (and one we can understand why he wants to bring Hyrule back to dry land).
Easily the best version of Ganondorf in terms of character and depth. Especially when we see the contrast between how he portrays himself as careful and mature in his talks, to the sheer insanity at the fact he fails in his goals AGAIN. Also just hearing his side as to why he wanted to claim Hyrule and the analogy of the wind, an ally to us the whole game since we need it to sail, but a sign of death to the Gerudo and Ganondorf.

It is also mine. And my favorite character is Meldi, so hard. Istg.
I don't think this should be the only thing, but I think there should be a whole collection of Zelda games.
Wind Waker still looks amazing on the Wii U, it has to come to the Switch 🤞
I bought it for my Wii U when it came out. It looked really good. My buddy owned it originally on the GameCube. I never did get around to beating it. I need to rectify that. The first Zelda game I ever completed start to finish was BoTW. It was just so engaging I couldn’t put it down. My little brother (half brother, 25 years younger) was so mad I took so long but I didn’t want it to be over. I was hooked. Sometimes I’d just play and mess around and not progress. Then eventually he spent the weekend with me and forced me to finish lol. Next came TotK and I actually blew through it despite messing with the building feature. I kind regret beating it so fast.
I saw all that to now put out that I want to play and beat the games I never finished, but once they’ve been updated to play on the Switch.
A deluxe edition with wind wakers cut content would be a dream come true.
Honestly this 100% I love HD but I think as big of a risk as it is Nintendo should consider a proper Remake rather than remaster. Not changing too much just adding some of the cut islands which had mostly side quests

Wind Waker was my first Zelda game and so I'd be hyped to see it get some love.
For the next Zelda game since it’ll no longer be set in the same Hyrule, I think Fujibayashi and Aonuma should make one with the similar open world oceanic exploration to Windwaker but with the continuation of the Wild/TOTK Era.
I would like to see Zelda, Link and their fellow Sage travel to over lands outside of Hyrule with different kingdoms and monarch systems. Sidon’s wife Yona and Penn’s appearances left us an open door to that.
And I’m sure Zelda would geek out about this since our favorite princess scholar is thrilled with new discoveries.
Yet another game in the BotW and TotK world would suck and sell like crap. TotK sales dropped off a cliff after the first month, dude.
If they make a 3rd one, the people will revolt.

Wind Waker has always been my favorite Zelda game! I love the temples, I love how unique the lands are, and honestly it's just so cute and nice on the eyes. Definitely lots of nostalgia there.
I hope it's released, but I don't know how many videos I've watched announcing that this game is coming soon. I just want to play classic Zelda after my experience with TotK (which felt oddly empty).

They should re release wind waker/twilight Princess combo or throw in the ds/3ds Zelda’s, that way every Zelda game can be on the switch
To be honest if wind waker and twilight princess came to the switch i would be a happy camper. Wind waker because i never played it, but played phantom hourglass and spirit tracks on the DS. Twilight princess i played on the wii but never got to finish it. I remember getting the zora armor and the master sword but thats it lol. It would be nice to play those two games on the switch so here's hoping that it happens!
I REALLY hope Wind Waker comes to switch, it is by FAR my favorite Zelda Game of all time. I really like the other ones, but there is just something about it that holds a special place in my heart.

I think they should release the Wind Waker trilogy and re-do the DS sequels with controller and touch screen controls for TV play or if you just don't like the the touch screen. (Like most people with Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks)

Wind Waker was such an influential game for me. I really hope Nintendo port it over to switch. 22 years since it original release and and 9 years since its HD release.... it would seem easy to just re-release the WiiU port for switch functionality but I guess it's not that simple. I think if the switch releases WWHD on switch it would be my best console of all time. I think we have 1 more year left before the new console.
Maybe they release Twilight Princess HD this year and Wind Waker 4K next year for Switch 2? Would make sense if they are going to split them up anyway!

I’m new to Zelda . Only played Links Awakening and Skyward Sword so far. Both great . I want them to do the Oracle games or Minish Cap 😱. Looks like the community wants the same 3/4 games constantly remade.

I'm really curious to see what the art style will be for the next Zelda. The Zelda team will have the most graphical horsepower it's ever had. Will they go cell-shaded or more realistic like Twilight Princess? I think more realistic is the way to go, something that builds on the Wii U tech demo style that never made it into a game.
I'm conflicted. My heart is both anxious to hope yet afraid, since WW (and TP) HD has been rumored for years without any payoff. I will not believe anything Nintendo has not at least teased at this point. I agree with that I don't think they would release WW HD on Switch so late in its life cycle unless the successor console is backwards compatible. They don't want to repeat the previous flop. Unless they are doing a gimmick again in terms of hardware, it makes sense for backwards compatibility to be present (and it fits previous patterns). In terms of the available titles, if they choose to release a Zelda this year (which would also fit previous patterns), I am extremely fine with either option as outlined here. They are all great games of the franchise. Some people have also suggested ALBW, since it is the only title to not get a re-release so far (and we are getting Dark Moon this year so....). Even if that game is a close second for me in terms of handheld Zelda (MC reigning supreme), it's not an attractive option for me. Others have talked about the Oracle games, which I personally want even less (although they would make sense to remake in the style of LA and to bundle). The titles mentioned in this video, on the other hand, are supreme classics that makes me personally yearn for the time before BotW. It makes financial sense to not bundle WW HD and TP HD, but at the same time Nintendo is in need of a little good will as it pertains to these titles and the Zelda fandom at this point. If these games are just ports from Wii U, then a bundle could very well be possible at the new first party release price point Nintendo has adopted. If they add nothing and just release ports separately for 70 a pop, then it will be received badly (although we will all buy). Maybe a lower price individually (like 40), or the new standard price for a bundle (or a single release like the video suggest). I find it hard to believe though, that they would remake either remake on the Switch's successor, they seem too recent. As long as we get a proper Zelda game (not a spin-off), I'm fine. But oh, so tired of the rumors and Nintendo's rumor non-combating silence. Gamecube on NSO for Switch seems unlikely at this point in the console's life cycle, so maybe we will get the ports unless they are saved as Switch 2 exclusives - as a means to motivate people to upgrade. Whenever they release, however, we will all buy 💀

Nintendo really doesn't have many games lined up for 2024 so releasing Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD as gap fillers would make perfect sense.

I wish that Nintendo would bundle the GB, GBA, & 3/DS Zelda AND Pokémon games, not all together, but by system & sell them. It would be so much better & I'd pay more than a single $60/70 game to get a bundle. As far as the Pokémon games, I'd even buy them bundled by generation.

I agree on the DS games but the other two got the 3DS remake which I personally have no complaints about. But I won't complain if they wanted to polish the visuals and add motion controls. I think the DS games need a remake the most because the controls are awful. After that Nintendo should work on the Oracle games :)

I think it is inevitable that it will come to the switch, it's just a matter of when.

As much as I would love for windwaker twilight princess to come to the switch I’m not gonna believe it until it actually happens cause people have said that for a long time and it hasn’t happened yet but hopefully they do but like I said earlier I won’t believe it until it happens
I think Twilight Princess is more likely of the two. Graphically it hasn't aged as well so it's better to save Wind Waker for the newer console. And motion controls can be implemented using the Joy-Cons.
Windwaker has a timeless art style. Twilight Princess is what looks ugly in 2024
As someone who had to bite the bullet and get WiiU just to play those 2 bloody games, I vote for Minish Cap remake in the LA engine.
If they do bring it back, get rid of the Tingle bottles & find something way to make the Tingle Tuner, again. The bottles were asinine, at best.

I went from GameCube to switch, never had access to a Wii or Wii U so I missed out on TP and SS. I enjoyed the updated SS on switch and I’m holding onto hope that I’ll get to play TP in the future. Also haven’t played wind waker in 20+ years so that would also be fun

Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on the switch makes little sense to me now. When we're waiting for a new console, why put it on the Switch at this point. Why not put that when the Switch 2 is upon us and we wait for the next 3d Zelda? I mean WW and TP made sense in 2021 with the 35th anniversary and 2022 when Tears was delayed.
This is the Switch's FINAL chance to get Wind Waker HD. If it doesn't come out this year, they might as well wait til the Switch 2 shows up to port it over.

I prefer it being released on the successor of the Switch so that we get improved graphics instead of it becoming visually the same as Wii U
I dont think wind waker can be improved graphically anymore than what the Wii U version did to be honest, that might be a fair argument for Twilight Princess though
@@fabiocetrulo4462 if you look up Relaxing/Lofi Wind Waker Mix you'll see how further improvement is definitely possible. Technology has improved in 10 years and merely porting WWHD which was released 10 years ago would be a disappointment in my eyes, especially for a beloved game. A rerelease for a title like this after 10 years should be a good rerelease.
Now that we still haven't seen a port and the Switch successor possibly coming out next year I'm quite optimistic for a port coming to that platform some day.🤞
