I saw this wonderful short documentary on Disney Plus a few days before the ceremony, I was very happy with the well-deserved victory of this project!

They should have also nominated Let Her Sing and The Last Song of Kabul and A Hero’s Journey the Making of Percy Jackson and The Olympians
I hope one day a documentary in Chinese wins an Oscar
Especially a documentary feature and not a short. The Chinese Mayor, Last Train Home, Petitions, Web Junkie, The Road To Fame, Behemoth, A Young Patriot, Plastic China, and China Heavyweight should have been nominated and Ascension should have won
Maybe a documentary about Gaokao or CCTV or about Tiananmen Square attack or about Xi Jinping or about silkworms in China or about Gaokao or about the resurrection of creativity in China after the Cultural Revolution will be nominated and hopefully win
Also hope more Chinese language movies are Oscar nominated in general. The only one with most nominations is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Hope Yolo gets more this year

Other young people that should have got nominations are Finn Wolfhard in When You Finish Saving The World, Violet McGraw in M3GAN, Brooklynn Prince in Cocaine Bear, Jennifer Trejo and Danilo Guardiola n Radical, Leonard Stettnisch in The Teachers Lounge Soya Kurokawa in Monster, Milo Machando Graner in Anatomy Of A Fall and Paul Mescal in All Of Us Strangers
Of course obviously Cillian Murphy would have beat Finn Wolfhard (obviously) for Oppenheimer. But Milo Machando Graner should have been nominated and won
Also the short last year Peace In The Middle East, which was made by a kid named Steven Hoffen should have been nominated and won last year.
But glad a young person won an Oscar

Many other Disney Plus documentaries (both shorts and features) should have been nominated like More Than Robots, Mickey The Story Of A Mouse, and If These Walls Could Sing. And Obi Wan Kenobi A Jedi’s Return
