In her page are also Beste Zangers songs and those are rarely (If ever?) blocked. Because - she sings, she publishes, her channel, LOL

I am 71 years old and have listened to Floor sing this song dozens of times and it always brings me to tears. No one else can do that to me. She is remarkable.

Stephen Clark, a lot of my musical taste is influenced by my dad. If he was still alive, he would be 74 in a couple of weeks. He died 11 years ago, but he loved Nightwish (and Floor while she was the singer of After Forever), so I gave him something back :)

Yeah, from the skill at performing, to the range of styles and how quickly she slides between them, to that absurd clarity and control... I've honestly never heard anything quite like it.

Floor is singing this for the young woman in the red dress (Emma Heesters), a CZcamsr who does covers. This is a great song to discover the depth and incredible dynamic range of the Goddess. Every one of her performances on this show is amazing. Floor is a high-sensitive person and sings with such empathy that it touches everyone who listens or watches. She is truly enigmatic and indeed a gift to us all. As another reactor said, "I truly believe God didn't stop on the seventh day. I think on the eighth day He created Floor Jansen".

"She's a gift." Can't think of a better way to describe her voice. There are so many good singers, but very few have the ability to make you feel the song the way she does.
I highly recommend going through all of her "Beste Zangers" performances.
As they say singers sing what they can but Floor sings what she wants. She can do anything!

Floor is an empath, feeling the emotions in not only the song she is singing, but also the people around her. And she has the rare gift of expressing all those emotions in her voice, making us feel some of what she is feeling inside. Mixed with her powerful and beautiful voice, it's quite the experience to hear her sing 💕

I have seen Nightwish in the US six times and have been to over 500 concerts in my life. I have never seen a singer do what she does live every night. In my opinion, Floor is the best live singer on the planet. And when they play the US they do 25 shows in about 30 nights and she nails every note, every night
I do not know of anyone else who can evoke emotions like Floor can. Believe me, it is common for people to shed some tears listening to her. You said it quite well, Floor really is a gift to humanity. Great reaction!

Edit.. I can 100% guarantee you will love " Sancta Terra" by another amazing symphonic metal band, Epica and our lovely Floor.
One 'problem' with Floor is..., she doesn't have 'just' one voice. She has the ability to sing in so many different ways. Ways that sometimes do alter the tone of her voice a lot. But no matter which one she chooses to use, her voice always emotes me. Always!
I am a guy and she brings me to tears every time as well. I can't think of any other singer - no matter how talented - that has that effect.

Floor is a high sensitivity person. Literally. It's a condition-- some might call it a gift, some a curse-- in which the person experiences acute physical, mental, or emotional responses to stimuli. She is intensely aware of others' emotions and is almost incapable of doing anything halfway-- she gives everything in all that she does. Obviously shows in her performances and makes her the person we all love but also why she needs space- one reason to be sure that she lives in the middle of the forest on that little farm in Sweden.
Floor Jansen reaches in, rips your soul off and leaves an IOU note instead. And we're all happier for it. :)

Floor is one of a kind, as a singer , performer and as a person. This 52 year old metalhead is brought to tears regularly when hearing her sing. All hail the Queen!
Floor is not just a singer or a vocalist, she's a painter, and music is her canvas, she has mastery over every tone and colour of her voice and what makes them so vibrant and impactful is that it all comes from the heart and is performed with utter sincerity...at least that's what I believe makes her performances so special.
Floor does that to all of us. She has a way of emoting every word she sings. Floor is a rare and special talent as you will see over and over. She has done a whole bunch of cover songs for her fans during the pandemic. You can find them on her YT channel. A couple songs from the Disney Frozen movies. her daughter loves Frozen. several others as well. All of them are amazing. Also, Floor performed about 6 other songs on the Dutch TV show, Beste Zangers. Hope to see you again very soon lovely lady! Even after the tears you are still looking beautiful! Be well.

That's called "The flooreffect" many have been floored already and the fall is always so pleasant.
This is why Floor is so extraordinary. She owns whatever song she covers. Check out her cover of “Euphoria.” She did that about 2 years after “Shallow” on the same show although remotely due to COVID-19. So much more to discover about Floor and Nightwish. Thank you so much, I loved them both... although I kind of forgot there was someone else there once she started singing...but I liked the duet as well as I am used to hearing the masculine contribution in the version by Gaga & Cooper which up until now is the only I'd heard. Everything she does is beautiful though so I think she could steal the show from anyone, anywhere.
I count myself lucky to live in the same time that Floor is alive and singing all of this beautiful music, and having been able to see her perform live. Pretty much anything she does makes me emotional, or flat out brings me to tears.
Where I come from they call it the "WOW" factor....... And she definitely has it..... But there are other things that make her just spectacular, those things are her generosity, humbleness, and hurt genuine down-to-earth caring nature. And one thing that fascinates me about her is that she always acts like she can be better she never seems like she's really satisfied with her performance,

Floor is a miracle, once in a generation human being. Experiencing Floor Jansen is like it must have been to be alive, in Yankee Stadium watching Babe Ruth in his prime. Generations from now will be listening to Floor's performances.
Floor has a gift that separates her from most other vocalists and that is the ability to draw you into the story she is telling. It doesn't matter if she is singing to 80,000 or 8 people when you listen to her she is singing to you and you only. There are very few artists that have that gift and she is one of those few. I only discovered Nightwish and Floor about a year and a half ago and from the first time I heard her voice I knew I was listening to something special and yes it brought a tear to my eye and goosebumps on my arms.

This is from a Dutch tv show, and frankly.. its one of the best music shows you'll ever come across. (maybe some region bias here hehe)
Basically, its a bit of a celebration of music, specifically singers, and each season they will have 7 singers on the show to make a total of 8 episodes.
Each episode one of the performers gets the spotlight and gets an honoring, they tell about themselves, what motivates them in music and life, you get to know these people a bit better.
Then the left over 6 singers will perform songs of importance to the honoree, usually this will be a few songs by that singer and a few songs they love by other musicians.
Usually the one performing will give their own twist to the songs that are being performed and in that way make those songs their own.
These are usually well known artists, in Floor's season.. she was one of the lesser known people because she hails from the land of Metal, but in that same season you had a massive big name (in the Netherlands) from the world of Musical/Theater/Operetta/Opera, there was a Latin singer, a very popular CZcams singer, as well as traditional Dutch pop, Rock, and Country.
So an eclectic mix if styles, who all step out of their comfort zones and perform for each other, in honor of each other.
So there is no competition going on, even though at the end of each episode, they are asked which song hit the the most that evening, but that's it.
So in that respect you get 7 episodes dedicated to each one of the singers and the 8 and final episode being Duets, where the singers can pretty much sing whatever they want, with whoever they want to sing.
In said duets you will more than likely discover other singers who grab you, dont be shy to explore more from this show, most of the Floor/Nightwish army are actually fans of just about everyone on that season hehehe.
This show is also a great way to see and hear Floor's many many "colors" she uses to "paint a picture" with her vocals, and still you wont have seen and heard half of her abilities.. not even remotely joking, that woman is a force of nature, the Valkyrie.

Floor Is an empath, she recieve emotions harder than anyone and can transmit them hundreds of time stronger than anyone.
There's no filter, no artifice, no cheats, you listen to her and you recieve a tsunami of raw emotions to the point it's overwelming sometimes.

When you said, "This woman is... is..." and had trouble deciding how to finish the sentence, it made me think of a short moment most people miss in the duet version (which you've now seen already). At one point, Samantha Steenwijk, the older blonde woman on the couch leans over and says quietly to Emma Heesters, the younger blonde woman, "This girl is iconic!" I think that finishes your sentence for you! ;) I can see I'm going to enjoy riding along this journey with your channel down the Nightwish/Floor Jansen rabbit hole!

It's called Beste Zangers and they group a bunch of popular singers from many genres. Each week one is the focus and the others sing their songs, or songs special for them.
Even the other singers & the Dutch were not aware of Floor & her immense talent.
They knew her after this show though!
She connects on another level for sure. So special.

This is one more reason to love seeing people react to her... I could actually SEE your eyes watering up early on, even before the first crescendo (I'm off the deep end) and thought to myself "I'm not surprised since you love the song to begin with!". See, I knew about the song, thought it was a good song but not even close to anything I listen to very often, and she still moved me like crazy with it, so I could only imagine what it would do for you! A gift indeed!

This is a dutch TV show where singers from Hollad meet up and sing songs for a certain person each week. No judges or anything. Just an amazing time and music with fellow singers.
Floor does that to people, she is a storyteller and she sings straight through your hart and soul with any song she does, every cover i heard she crushed the original version and that is indeed a gift and there are a lot of these gifts she has to offer you so sit back relax and enjoy the Nightwish/Floor Jansen train, thnx for your reaction

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet so here goes. Definitely go into Floor's season on Beste Zangers, AMAZING. This is a Dutch TV show that feature singers from different genres (NOT a competition). There were 7 singers in 2019 so the shows was 8 episodes. Each week a different singer in 'on the couch' with the host and the others each sing a song for them that was either something of theirs or something that means something to them. The last episode of the season is them all breaking out and doing duets. Metal is not popular in the Netherlands so Floor was not well known in her home country and only a couple of the guests were familiar with her. She was the 'Metal Singer'. I think at one point or another during the show, she had everyone in tears. She sang in four different languages and at least five different styles during the show. The show also triggered a sold out mini tour for Floor in the Netherlands (first time) and hitting the top of the download charts.
I'm sure you will love the song "Ever Dream", live Wacken 2013 or her cover of the song "Alone" by Heart.
I'll get there...just starting to open the gift of Nightwish, and loving every second so far
