HOW TO REPLACE ORIFICE TUBE ON A 2005 FORD EXPLORER 4.0

After replacing a failed a/c compressor, there's still debris left in the a/c system, even though it was evacuated. Contamination is still prevalent in the lines, and other components that could have debris are the a/c condensor, accumulator or receiver drier, and expansion valve. Most people only replace the compressor and then, about 1 or 2 years later, end up replacing it again due to it failing. Debris that was left behind in the other components could be the potential culprit. If you're continually replacing the same parts year after year, then change out other a/c components. A/C system should be evacuated of freon before performing the procedure. You can take it to a shop and they'll evacuate it for you, then you could do the replacement yourself. Now, you could either go back to a shop and have them recharge the system for you, or you could rent a vacuum and a manifold gauge set (if you don't already have one) from your local parts store along with the correct amount of refrigerant for your vehicle.
