This show was so much better than any of that X Factor/BGT bollocks. Just a good fun program for families to watch on a Saturday night, no egos, no sob stories, no plastic celeb judges.

Unlike them, it certainly had a charm about it. The element of fun in guessing who they were going to be. The lengths to having them resemble the singer as close as possible. A lot of typical people you'd encounter would normally be doing it. Certainly always was very well done.
I used to work with Gary @ Compaq.... Great guy... Was a quite guy, but he turned up with his Show outfit and did some songs for us..... Omg he was truly amazing!!!! I think he's still doing it.... As a couple of years ago was staying with n a hotel and he was touring. I hope his well!!

He's truly living his best life with his international tribute tour 24 years later a remarkable vocal talent and somehow resistant to age. The show must go on !

But I always admire this performance again and again, because I believe that to this day, no one has managed to surpass Gary In this field. When man closes his eyes and listens only to his voice, it is really difficult to distinguish him from Freddie's. Apsolutely amazing voice and performance too.

How the Hell did this guy's career not blow up after this? The body language is seamless and absolutely phenomenal and his voice is gorgeous, very close. If Marc Martel had this guy's body language there would be no challenger at all.
It’s only just occurred to me after watching this now, that they record the singer in a studio then overdub it over the live performance. It’s still very impressive.
Damn! Stumbled upon this clip by sheer CZcams-randomness. This guys voice has the strongest resemblance to Freddies that I've heard, ever. Yeah, sure, it lacks a bit of the power that the late legend had in his vocal chords. (Then again, most singers have that lack; they may be damn good. They're just not Freddie Mercury-level) But other than that, this was bloody good stuff! Later learned that Mr. Mullen won the entire competition. Sounds to me that it was totally deserved. 👍
