  • There are so many hyped up old cars that come into the US under the 25 year rule, that a lot of the lesser fawned over ones tend to fall under the radar. This is one of those cars: the first generation Toyota Soarer. The two door luxo barge that came with a Supra heart, but businessman looks.

I have found and saved the rarest Mazda FC RX7 ever made! Now this car is rare. Really rare! Let me break this down really quick...
Ever heard of the rare 100 GTUs rx7s? Only 40 have ever been claimed and only 7 are confirmed at the time of this posting! Here are the rarest rx7 FC3S models:
      1500 10AE Turbo models
      1400 infini
      1000 winning limited
      150 final edition convertible
      100 GTUs...
      out of that 100:
      83 red on black
      10 black on black
      7 white on blue
There was only 100 GTUs models created between 1989 and 1991.
If you own one of these rare models sign your car up to the registry list here on any of the rotary forums!
There are rumors about a restamped GTUs model...
The entire origins GTUs owners thread on the rx7club was modified, icemarks claims deleted, registry list changed to have a confirmed section and the mods agree there are not enough GTUs models to have the 100 restamped models and the restamps are of every model made, not a gtus specific.
Icemark cites himself while making up the claims almost 20 years ago. They have been deleted, there rumors were false.
If you have a real GTUs you can register it here!

    I've owned 2 of these (pre-wife/kids) - a naturally aspirated, automatic 2.0l 6 cyl and then managed to find a 5 speed with the 2.0 twin turbo 6 - the 1g-gte.
I miss those things so much. The folding mirrors, the digital dash, the height of 80's luxury etc.
I'd actually forgotten about the floating indicators.
There were quite a few floating around in Australia at the time - so I hope the owner did manage to get the needed parts for this one.

Omg. Got rid of my 88 GT Limited a couple years ago - it was my first car from when I turned 17 🥺. Legitimately the EXACT same trim as this (some content on my channel)!!! Mine even had the exact same purply window tint on the rear windows and bubbling door trim too 😂
A70 and Z20 definitely had the same power from factory though. Unless a post 89 7mgte with a slightly different tune. Otherwise minor differences depending on emissions system by country. The only z20/a70 chassis with more power and modified turbo and intercooler was the turbo A a70 which also was mafless etc. JZA70R had a bigger cooler also. Happy to be proven wrong but I am very certain of this! Pulled apart many a70s and forged/r154 swapped my z20.
7mgteu and 7mgte are realistically the same. People think that because the turbo A a70 was a 7mgteu that all models with the 'u' were the same. But the 'u' just designates a JDM version hahaha.
Other changes to the 7mgte included an extra cat in the downpipe in europe/aus/usa post from 89+, and extra webbing/castings in the block for durability :)

Produced from 1981 up to 1985, featured Toyota Electro Multivision (EMV), TEMS (electronically controlled suspension), 3.0 engine and many more stuff. It won "car of the year" in Japan. And it still valued higher then newer generations. Price is about up to 45000 USD and they are keep growing. Not to mention the rarity of fine examples.
