Rachmaninov: Piano conc. no 3 mov 3, first half - by an amateur - what could possibly go wrong?

There was a documentary about the Van Cliburn competition, where Olga Kern appeared practising Rach 3. I remember I thought that if she can play it, why shouldn´t I? Hybris... I first learned the first movement which I unintentionally performed to students writing some exame in a big hall. I didn´se or hear them but no one complained. I regret I never recorded it. The third movement, Recorded in 2005, was harder and I wasn´t able to learn the hardest parts of the second half of the piece.
