for all those fighting in the comments, i looked up the building a studio is around 3k a one bedroom is around 4K (prices are lower rn cuz of corona). yall can stop guessing prices now

The drawers in your kitchen are called “soft close”.
So everything will stay in its place instead of being tossed around
As someone who lost mom at the very young age, I want to share one important advice I can give as I am emphasising with you right now. You must let yourself to feel grief and cry when you're upset. Please don't try to live life as if your loss never happened... I have tried to live and have been telling myself I'm fine I accept what happened until I woke up at age 30 and now I am really grieving.. I held all my feelings locked up away in my heart and lived my life as if her death didn't affect me much. I wish I let myself to grieve and acknowledge my feelings back then, would make coping much easier now. So I hope you will find streghth to do so because its okay to be upset and unhappy at such horrible time. I wish you all best and stay healthy and look after yourself x
Suggestion for the kitchen:
Put an island in the middle of the kitchen & a comfy chair in the corner. Bc it’ll mostly be the two of you there if one cooks the other can lean over the island and hang out there - or sit down in the chair and enjoy the view!
and you can add stools!
Yeah! Or like a long breakfast bar behind the sofa with stools etc
I got one for my apartment from Ikea!! (kind of hard to put together but soo worth it)
put a table in the kitchen. No other way to live.

Kitchen area suggestion: the space (to me) doesn’t look big enough for a couch. Maybe get a couple of comfy chairs and a long, thin kitchen island? Also, for the desk in your bedroom area, ordering a clear one could be helpful. Helps to not distract from the view while also being functional.

I was in NYC for 3 days in November on holiday from Australia and I fell IN LOVE. It’s absolutely amazing.
Take care of yourself Renee, here in Argentina we were in quarantine a week ago and surely we will be until the end of April. NY is my favorite city in the world and the fact that you have moved there makes it better! I LOVE YOUR NEW HOME! I hope everything happens quickly so you can decorate it and it will be perfect!

This apartment is so beautiful! It's been my dream to live in New York in apartment like this. I'm still in school and I was just wondering, how do you afford this and what do you do for living to live in an expensive city like this. I just want to know what I have to do to move to New York in the future. :)
