- It's time for another sketchbook ideas video! Let's make some fun FALL art! These ideas aren't just classic fall things - they are ideas with some experimentation, imagination, simplicity, and even some that preserve memories! I hope you enjoy this! Fall truly is the season for painters! We LOVE that you said this is for people who "just want to draw". If there's a barrier in the way of making art, you have to move it, climb over it, go around it, or crash through it, and just get to work. Seeing that big, bold orange shape appear almost instantly on the page made us feel very happy indeed!
Mira, instead of putting the stickers in your sketchbook, you should get a separate book altogether. And either by month or year, make page after page of the stickers on the book and label the month or year. You could also sketch or decorate the page with your own art and make things that incorporate the stickers you are putting in there.
Mira you have such a huge artistic talent, I'm learning from you to be more relaxed and loose with the art I create in my sketchbook. All of those ideas are so fun and I'm going to use those ideas in my sketchbook.😊

Ah sketchbook videos. I love these simple art ideas to do after a day of work. My favorite is the door. I have a Pinterest board devoted entirely to doors. And one to windows.
My laptop is adorned with stickers, including some of my own art and art from others too, like an adorable blubblefly!
Happy birthday! It's been ages since I've seen lake Erie. Born in western NY but lived in AZ since I was 9.
I collect my stickers usually by putting them all over my sketchbook covers. Works well only for ones that aren't fabric covered, of course. But it also gives me a feeling of travelling through time because of what I put there and it let's me relive what mattered to me at the time. And because I finish sketchbooks eventually, I don't get my commitment issue thing with the stickers, like I would if I put them on my laptop 😂

I really love the sticker page, I definitely save and buy stickers from everywhere I go….but I am to nervous to stick them on a hydra flask or my laptop. Especially because I’m a traveler and I most likely won’t be going back to the places I visited in a while. So I really like that idea ❤

Yay for Lake Erie and it’s gloomy, moody skies! I’m on Lake Erie, myself and I’ve done a few paintings with those skies. That Polaroid and the deer were my favorites. :)

I was at Lake Erie last month for my birthday! One day it stormed and the pictures I got before and after the storm rolled through are some of my favorites.

Thank you for inspiring me enough to pick up my old (first) sketchbook. I usually scrapbook, but I do like to use my supplies for different things too. The pumpkin is a good, simple start for me. I felt like I was naturally doodling away as I painted something remotely like yours! I’m going to try the door next, once the ink dries. I’m left handed too!

Thank you! I am one that loves the sketchbook series and its a great way to unwind after work. Some days are really hard and if I have to come up with an idea no sketchbooking is gonna happen.
All great ideas i have to start a new sketchbook with some of these. Thanks to you i now prime my canvas with a wash of paint(close to what I plan to paint) before painting so all the white space is filled.

We just got back from a trip around the small towns of Ohio…though we did stay one night on the west side of Columbus. Ohio Caverns would make a good little Polaroid.

I put them on my laptop but I also decorate junk journals with stickers. I also have really bad first page syndrome so I will put stickers that inspire me on the first page
