- Nzulezu is an isolated village built on stilts on lake Tadane located in the Jomoro District in the Western Region of Ghana. The inhabitants of the village are said to have migrated from Walata, a city in ancient Ghana Empire. Over 500 people live in the community. All traditions and everyday activities take place on the lake, such as school, worship, etc. Nzulezu is unique, after wandering on the village and bonding with the inhabitants, I visited the village hall where I met with the chief who recounted the history of how the choose to settle there. I inquired about the school and the teachers as the place is not an easy place to travel. He said the government only posted two official teachers but that wasn't enough to each all the kids in the village so the community employed 4 additional teachers whose salaries depends on the donations from visitors. Being part of a community myself, a community that not only develop the grassroot sports but also take care of the warfare of young people in Nigeria, I made a donation to them on behalf of Pitstop Community Lagos.

@@taiyeokh1359 It's in Lagos, the name of the village is Makoko
Ghana don’t have anything in common with nigerian, here is just a village not a city center like makoko the two countries are different from each other only Ashawo Ghanaians think they are one with nigerians

This place is much better than James Town makoko and it's's very important to keep the place clean to avoid diseases
Yes they look similar but this one is less populated and fairly maintained.
Is it supposed to be so a centre of Accra we are talking about and this is not joke what a shame and disgraceful
Liar 🤥, do you know James town very well? James town is a well planned superb with streets nobody lives on water at James town for your information.
@@aboaboyahciciniko7132I never said people live on water in James town I said this place is well maintained compared to Jamestown since both around the sea the only difference is this people live on the sea and beside James town is very dirty their beaches are pure bola.

Mean, this is really Beautiful ✍🏽 is look like, it's gonna be a lot of snakes did at night!!
Thanks. It's a beautiful place, I'm not sure how the snakes will swim in the water though.
No snakes please
Sometimes mosquitoes
Are they never had bad weather like flooding. I hope not for me it is risky and dangerous to live on the water
That's a good question, I'll ask them next time I visit.
Questions?
Yes
How can we support this people
People donate
Visitors donate a lot
Mostly foreigners
But I don't know the current authorities
I come from the village
I can help you if you don't mind. I plan to revisit the village next month, and whatever you donate I will pass it on to the authorities and mention your name and the exact amount with video evidence as proof and send it to you.
So they lied when they said the water is dirty because the bathroom is der
They drink the water, it’s not dirty. It’s clinically certified
I was wondering about that myself, but when I thought more on it about the Catfish and what they are employed to do, I came to the conclusion that the eco-sysyem is a self cleaning mechanism that cleanses itself, so therefore it is possible that the water there is clean as long as there are no man-made chemicals added to destroy the eco-sysyems ability to filter and cleanse itself. Only my theory. Js
Teach Ghanaians the Nigeria system 🇳🇬
Lol! We no dey carry last 😅
The nigerian system are kidnapping, arm robbery, scamming, ashawo, etc
