  • No teens without their parents should be out and about on St. Louis City streets as police enforce a curfew meant to reduce crime after a series of violent crimes hit downtown in recent weeks.

It should be before 12:00am that's too late.Well let's see how this works.

Back when I was growing up in the 1960s-1970s you had be home by darkness if you under 18 years old

I still think 12AM is still too late! After the game I saw over 50 kids just hanging out and getting loud! No kid under 17 should be out by themselves at that time of the night. Noticed some of the kids were kids under 12!!! Parents should be accountable for their kids. Enough said! Regardless of color you shouldn’t be out there at night. They won’t agree with it until one of those girls is raped or killed and by then is too late.

Parents should be responsible out there, but it really didn't feel like many of them were.

Family services are quick to punish a parent who tries to discipline their children.

And that's a failure on the city's part. I left for many many reasons, this being one of them. It's on parents to parent their children, not the city. Why do you think all those kids are out there doing questionable stuff in the first place? City's creating their own problems with every step.

The only 2 that oppose you could find were completely incompetent.
Both brought up REDICULOUS racial issues, one even said "what if the kids have guns?"

LOL. I was thinking the same thing. If the kids have guns then the police should definitely be stopping them.

      Police not allowed to.
      1. It's racist.
      2. No holding facility.
      3. The new Mayor defunded the police so they are now stretched overly thin.

Apparently the thing that one g@y dude didn't agree with was the kids being black and policing blacks is bad so he don't agree with that... wtf!?
That is just insanity. Do they honestly believe we are going to just let blacks run free to do anything they want? Simply because they are black??? But, I am white apparently i know nothing about "how hard it is to be black" so I have no say according to them because the people saying all this dumsht say I'm racist. What hypocrisy!

I know, another case of St. Louis targeting the wrong people cuz they don't know what's actually going on. Police are only good there for collecting fines, not for actual domestic threats or homicides. I highly doubt they'll stop the crimes in their city. So glad I moved away from that place.

A curfew is something that parents or guardians should set and enforce, not the City of Saint Louis. Congratulations! You just took a step toward marshall law for the sake of "safety".

Aiden Fucci prime example of teen out when he should have been home, as well as the poor young lady he stabbed to death. What were her parents doing while she was out and about with this murderer. Curfew is excellent idea only if it is followed up by parents and the law. 👮 👨‍👩‍👧

What's matter Democrat's, the social workers an counselors not working out uh.... that's right, I never will work!!! More police, more stricter penalties for crimes is the answer. The no job excuse isn't valid, there r plenty of jobs to get.

Just go straight to stop and frisk. It's the only thing that will work. But it can't be based on race. In order to be fair we'll say that hoodies, Air Force Ones, Dodge Chargers, Nissan Altimas, and gold chains are considered probably cause for a search. But not race.
