- SCP-001 is an ESOTERIC Class anomaly also known as Touching Eternity.
SCP-001 cannot be contained. As a result, Foundation efforts are to focus on the following:
- Recovery of remaining motile civilians to Foundation-organized safe communities;
- Restoration of Foundation technological and communications infrastructure wherever possible;
- Restoration of the concept of "time" via reconstruction of SCP 001 -1.
Those affected by SCP001 are currently considered lost. Preservation of the veil is to be disregarded.
Foundation agents have the full approval of remaining O5 council members to eliminate persons or groups deemed hostile to the Foundation's mission with prejudice.
SCP 001 is categorized as a ZK-Class Temporal Cessation event, which resulted in the total cessation of the standard passage of time on February 13th, 2025 at 0710 PST. Following SCP-001, the natural progress of time as understood by society ceased. Affected persons, animals, inanimate objects, etc. remain locked in the position they were in when the event took place and are incapable of independent motion.
While SCP-001 is believed to affect an overwhelming amount of the population, a currently unknown number of humans have remained unaffected. Unaffected individuals retain the ability to move and interact with their environment, however, most natural biological processes have ceased.
The mechanics of SCP-001 are poorly understood beyond what is outlined above. Research remains ongoing.

Tbh i always thought of "001" as its own special class the "ima fuck it all up" class
thought that scp 001 was the first event that lead to the creation of the fountation.
It’s kinda both tbh, 001 is just difficult to describe given how massively different each entry is
001 is whatever the plot needs it to be right now
There was one theory i saw i kinda liked was scp 001 -the truth. I think it was scp036 (i dont remember and i am currently too lazy to double check myself). It the one where its this sphere that when placed inside of a container it slwoly grows the container and it gets weirder the farther it goes. Its apparently hidden on a park statue. Well this file was a front for the actual anomaly where they find an identical milky way over and over. Getting weirder and the mission eventually goes fubar. The reader proposed that the best way to hide 001 is to not lable 001. I just thought it was neat

5:43 one problem there, if all is as immovable as that, anyone unaffected in poor weather is effectively trapped as well by the particles in the air (ie rain, fog or... SNOW!) In spite of that, great to see new single content 🥰😎🤩

In case you are unaware, whatever SCP-001 actually is, the 05-council wants to keep it secret.
So there are multiple 001 entries; "proposals". One of them is the "real" one, but no one knows which one.

Honestly making this SCP story this interesting is super impressive, if anyone hasn't read the original it is VERY poorly written
its really confusing to constantly be hearing "they" instead of him or her. it's hard to tell who or how many people is referred to.
It’s easier if you also watch the video because Kidd is often on-screen whenever the narrator uses the singular ‘they’.
It’s also a slight guessing game of attaching a pronoun sentence to the most likely name or action.
‘Kidd looked at their watch’ vs ‘They bumped into each other’
