@@namenamename8477 well with learning drawing with animation since you have to learn gestures poses and just everything about everything it helps you learn how to draw since you draw like 100 of 1 piece
@@namenamename8477 repetition to the point it becomes muscle memory. If you want to animate something, you kinda get forced to learn how things move naturally, thus allowing you to grasp how things would look in a multitude of angles and poses, as well as be able to pinpoiny where you're lacking an understanding in how something can move in a believable way
I remember when I was younger every time I would make an animation (even though I would never really finish them) my art would improve a ton. I would be drawing so much that my art would just rapidly improve with every animation I made. Now I’m focusing more on rendering, since I never really got to that part when animating lol
If you watch CZcams videos and wanna try to emulate something you see, you can press the period key repeatedly while watching videos (on PC) to go frame by frame :) it helps a lot!
And if you press comma ( , ) it will move play backwards one frame at a time ;). Also, if the video is 60FPS, there's alot more frames so be aware of that.
This is really inspiring actually, I’m pretty confident in my ability to draw but I always get hung up on animating cuz I’m afraid I’ll make something shitty but that’s how you improve with art so idk why I never thought of it that way for animating 👀💞 thankyu for this video!
I have been wanting to start animating for a while but kept putting it on hold thinking ‘I haven’t planned out how to go about it’ or ‘I don’t have the resources’ or ‘I need to improve my drawing first’, yada yada. This was a nice reminder that all I need to do right now is simply get started.
Yes I sure think pretty start right now is the better thing rather to wait like they told “not old enough “, thank you for your sharing of this and also great amazing work man!
The bouncing ball is the best way to learn animating imo ✨ After you know that and understand the 12 principles you can animate pretty much anything. But um it takes a long time to master the simple things so in the mean time also draw people and things around you 👍 that’s how I (and a lot of my classmates) learned. Edit: ALSO the animation is great! Better than I can do keep up the good work 💙
I think learning how to animate is a great way to also learn how to draw/sketch/paint because of the repetition required for each frame...especially if you're mindful of how you use references.
I think because the best way to learn drawing is drawing from photos, but sometimes the phoses in photos are boring and stiff cuz they are posing just for a single photo, meanwhile a video has many poses and they are very lively, so from drawing from a video you both learn animation and also drawing more natural poses. Well thats my opinion at least. Good luck anyway
I've been drawing for a long time now and i started learning how to animate a few weeks ago I've made 4 mini projects and i did it all traditionally on paper
Have a doubt havin a android tab with no stylus should make one like watching diy vids and start animation or should i get a proper stylus also my tab is a bit broke in screen
I'm a bit confused actually, if we copy real life the animations will be pretty bland. They will be realistic but not believable. Should we not learn and try to adapt the 12 basic principles of animation first? I'm new to animation and I've started reading Animators' survival kit and this was said in the book. Would love to hear your opinions on this!
DEPENDS. If you do this alone stuff by yourself, INDEED You need to learn drawing first but not truly master it. You still can learn in the process of animating. BUT if you work with team, as animator, you dont have to able to draw so good. Because in team, the jobs is specialized. Some people doing the sketches, some doing the proper lineart frames, some doing the inbetween. Some doing the 3D and background art. some doing the coloring. Some doing the animation. If you in a team, animator just.. animating. Mixing and doing stuff with all those hundreds or thousands of picts. Also, mix it with the sound effect, music, song too
