As an employed software engineer, im
A) so curious how you can stay unemployed for years at a time and still afford to do something like this and B) am not sure what those occupations have to do with this trip.
As an student in engineering, this video gives me hope
Truly inspirational. You show everyone that you don't have to be a sponsored athlete to perform at that level, or go on that caliber of adventure.
This is a straight documentary

Tyler I found your channel a couple of months ago due to my researching of climbing. I'm really new to climbing and have only been to the gym so far, but ironically I was already on this obsession of Kyrgyzstan because I'm learning Russian so I had already planned to visit Kyrgyzstan someday. So it was really cool seeing you and your awesome group of friends do this epic climb! It's amazing to watch the technique and the amount of fun you guys have! Can't wait to see more!
Fantastic Video, incredible filming work.
I've followed your content for ages, always loved it. This though... is off the scale. I consider this the best, most honest and engaging high altitude rock climbing expedition video I've seen in decades. Massive respect, I suggest you enter this film for International awards and accolades. THANK YOU!
I am really into geomorphology and geology etc and I find your videos fantastic as you have an eye for AMAZING vistas of the landscape, and you also emphasise details of the rock too. Looks fantastic on a big screen. I like the chilled pace of your videos as I can really enjoy the surroundings, and get a wonderful feel for being there.
Thanks for your thoughtful and skillful video making skills, along with being amazing climbers (and cooks!) A high calibre video and high calibre humans. Hats off!
Tyler, thanks for sharing your trip! With my 2 kids, pandemic, and the fires I have been able to enjoy the outdoors with your videos. I appreciate that since my mountain trips have been lacking for the past year!
The pandemic should have made you go Into nature MORE

Any idea the last, or how many times that's been climbed? I was just listening to conrad talk about the Russian tower.
Mad respect Tyler! Keep it up bud!
Unbelievable.....how the hell do you get to this point...is it starting young climbing trees, indoor walls etc... amazing cheers
The warm teabag face wash is awesome.. I'm seriously going to use that tip, my wife will look at me strange for a few minutes, then probably do it herself, heh.
Try it with camomile tea bag, really cuts through grease etc..
Holy shit this is beautiful
I'm an employed translator but this film shows how dope funemployment really is, regardless of the profession. Awesome video and awesome vibes in the valley!
Man some of those slings and ropes looks a bit fuzzy... What a beautiful place!

Masterful landing at 6:30. SPOT ON!
unreal content
Epic trip
I'm so fascinated by this lifestyle.
What a dream trip😍
Awesome video. I knew I should never have become an employed engineer
Really good watch. Love your stuff. Serious question. How do 5 unemployed folks fund a trip to Kyrgyzstan?
We all live off of savings or work seasonally. The entire cost of the trip was roughly $1800 for a month
@@tylerkarow Wow. That's super cheap. I need your travel agent
The alpine beauty tip was A5. Makes sense.
Hi Tyler, first of all: very nice videos. I enjoy every single one of them. I actually like how you barely edit it, except for cutting of course. This style makes it kinda feel like being with you guys on your trips :) Anyways I wanted to ask you about your camera setup. I assume this is a GoPro? How long does your battery last? I have the GoPro Hero 7 and battery is a real pain in the ass and dies so quickly.
Living the dream!
