    Vickie is very brave, and very inspiring, young lady.
    I have just viewed her own video, which is very helpful. Thank you again Vickie.

    My 9yo daughter has an spc and a colostomy post a traumatic accident. She has found both really easy to cope with apart from catheter changes as she needs a general anaesthetic due to anxiety surrounding medical procedures after months of hospitalisation.

    Hi there, I have had my SPC for approximately 5 years and would be interested in being on 'continence chat' I am in Australia so not sure whether this would be a big thing but I feel like I have a bit of a unique story when it comes to my SPC etc If you could give me any further details about how I could be on the show, that would be awesome. Thank you again.

    I’m in month 4 of my new SP ... I used to intermittent cath (male) but over 32 yrs ruined that access ... Now... I was hoping for a little better performance from leaks. I can’t go without being connected to a leg/night bag for just minutes without leaking out manhood &or SP entry hole. Super frustrating!

      Hello, have you tried Hyacyst instillations? i also suffer with urinary urgency and incontinence, I’ve been doing hyacyst with my spc for about a year! and highly recommend it

    • @beatweezl
      @beatweezl Před 2 lety +2

      OMG you did IC for 32 years??? Why can't you IC anymore? Scar tissue? Pain? Closed urethra? I can't even imagine. I thought my over one year of IC was a lot. It was torture every time. How old when you started IC? So sorry to hear this. SPC is so much better (in many ways except the freedom of not having a tube dangling out of you that can get caught on something.)

    I have a neurogenic bladder. I was self cath’ing up to 8x per day. I got very sick in February of this year and they decided to proceed with a SPC. I’m having horrible bladder spasms. They are so intense that I lose control of my bladder. I wear diapers now. I’m also young.

    I've had an spc. In the past but it never healed right. Had. Interstim which worked. For. Over a decade then it just stopped. The stimulator I have in now is good but my nerves are not responding. I'm not. Incontinent but have the problem. Of. Retention. Me and my urologist are trying to decide what to do now.

    Please advise. I just want my husband to enjoy being with us on the beach...

      Hello Anna, Vickie here🥰 I highly recommend belly bags for the beach!
      As for bathing I love having a bath with Flo my spc! i use a night bag and drape it over the bath, there is no pain involved, you can experience a spasm or two if the water is too hot so I recommend starting off with warm water!
      I have an Instagram account where I talk all things SPC as well as a Facebook and CZcams channel! All are ‘just tricky’ 💕
