Thank you for this channel. My name is ANDRE, I am 53 and I have MS I am on my second year with an SPC due to a neurogenic bladder getting information is not very easy, nor is it easy to find someone to talk to, so this channel has given me some information that I could use. If it would benefit the channel, I would be happy. To come on and talk about my experience. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this channel.

Brilliant video. I wish I had seen this video 2 years ago before making my decision to have an SPC. I too have MS and was really unsure about having an SPC and its not a 100% problem free solution but is still the best choice I ever made. I have much more control over my life than I did in the 2 years prior to getting an SPC.
Unfortunately the first year was tough due to me not knowing the range of products out there - as everyone has different circumstances and its not a case of one products suits all. My health professionals were friendly but sadly unaware of many of the products available out there and so I spent months researching products available in the UK. I contacted many companies in the UK supplying continence products and it was Sharon at LINC who gave me the most help and details of Tracey Seals facebook SPC group and finally I didnt feel alone!! Its a fantastic group with a wealth of knowledge that you just can't find from anywhere else. I highly recommend it and am very grateful to Tracey and moderator Karen and all the other helpful members for the time they spend giving advice to fellow SPC users. I was also grateful to Rob at LINC for being extremely helpful sending me lots of different samples. Like Tracey I am now using a Linc catheter after her recommendation and it is the most comfortable I have used with no granulation, no spasms and no splitting! Yay :)

I am so annoyed I had a SP catheter put in and I was discharged with a night bag and no information at all. How do I live with it? They said education isn’t there job. I have had the catheter for about 2 months now. I have a spinal cyst for 21 years. I was in and out catheters for that long. I wish I had this 10 years ago. I had bladder neck surgery and my doctor didn’t have a open mind. New urologist in our city it was nice to have a new prestive.
