Welcome 😊
ma'am can you make similar videos on myopia?
Thanks mam
Ma’am what did u say in last about **AAO table** I got confused there , aren’t we prescribing full correction in esotropia and also full correction in
Sorry!, if the patient has esotropia, you mentioned that we need to give the full correction to relax accommodation, then according to AAO you mentioned that it should be less than the full correction!?
Full correction is needed in case of accommodative esotropia. AAO guidelines table is for esotropia in general... But in text even aao mentions that a case of accomodative esotropia needs full correction
Hi, I really like the detailed explanation of the hypermetropia condition.
I would like to talk to you about my infant dealing with hyperopia. I would like to have your opinion of possible.
Eagerly waiting for your reply.

Mam can glasses reduce hypermetropia?
How much power we have to reduce if age is less than 3 yrs?
For example if pt age is less than one year and having esotropia in one eye only but both eyes having+5.00Dsph after cycloplegic ref . So how much we will prscribe to this patient?
We give a full correction means wearing +5 for the eyes

What does that mean .. cut off.. in AAO SCENARIO
Cut off means the power at and above which we must prescribe
So when I say cut off is 6..
I mean you have to prescribe if the power is 6 or above only... And not below that
If Cut off is +6 but manifest hypermetropia is +8 then what is the correction needed .....+8 or +2 ?
