This episode brings back a flood of memories for me Randy. I grew up archery hunting Elko county with my father, brothers, uncles and friends. We hunted the Independence Mountain range. I still hunt there from time to time. It will always be a special place in my heart. Thank you very much for sharing this journey.
The end of your hunt reminds me of this Thomas Jefferson quote. "I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it."

Great episode. I love hunting NV, although not a resident, I lived there for 10 years and graduated from UNR. I have a bow tag this season for muleys. I would love to get a buck of your caliber with my bow.

Randy, on that bucks left front point. what do you think that bump is? genetics? a injury while in velvet? my family an i habe harvested many bucks with those bumps in the horn all from the same area.

Wondering what camera and tripod set-up you are using? I assume it is pretty lightweight...
Hey Jeffrey, we have used a variety of cameras over the years. And updated as camera equipment keeps improving. But our main cameras have been the Sony Z150 (amzn.to/2BkydDv) and the Sony a7iii (amzn.to/2BmncBL). We also use a variety of tripods, Benro has been the main brand we've used (amzn.to/31plrhH). Hope that helps.

Man slay it up with the Destroyer. I pre-ordered the LE when they came out in August 2013. Everytime I see someone w/ a Destroyer I usually think oh shit here we go lol. Check out my vid of me shooting btw I show my shots!
